I do wonder why they always give the basic Knight Set OD poise to weight ratio. This one is no different, probably the best PvE set in the game.

The helmet of this armour just looks.. off.. like it's too small compared to the body, might just be me though.

People about to forget all about that random nobody Vyke, because they are gonna meet John Elden Ring

If you combine this with a Claymore, a Buckler, and both equip load talismans, you can actually light roll at 50 END. Basically you get the best of everything and make a middle of the road type of character. Jack of all trades. Elden shoto.

Is it just me or does this armor look like the demon souls armor
- Anonymous
I believe that the Knight Set is what Vyke's armor looked like before he got touched by the Three Fingers

If you see this guy in the colosseums, just give up. He'll somehow parry you with the default parry on a medium shield every single time and dodge all your spells. Dark Souls boomers are simply too powerful. They've been playing these games like they're actions games for years now and are just built different at this point.

I almost got the full set but I just need the knight armor to finish it.

Love that this got buffed to 51 poise. If you use a light weapon that gets most of its damage from base dmg (vs scaling) you can light roll with this set at RL125 with Erdtrees Favor +2 and Great Jar Arsenal. Feels amazing to have light roll with decent def and 51 poise. Worth the END investment.

wish there were more medieval looking plate armors. even this one has too much engravings

As of 1.07 this is a really good set for PvE. It already had good stats, but now it has 51 poise which is a very good breakpoint for PvE enemies.

A little drab, but when you wanna go for a real classic Chosen Undead look, look no further

The Blue-Gold Kite Shield was basically made to match this set.

Notice it has the same design on the front as the Elden Lord Set. It would make sense for a Tarnished knight that fought with Godfrey.

Beautiful armor but not as beautiful as the fluted armor from demon souls remake that’s the best knight armor I’ve ever seen.

If you put some thought into it. This armor could have very well use to belong to the prisoner class before they were imprisoned

40 poise isn’t enough to help against even a mere footsoldier or pro soldier in this game. So, don’t bother considering that as a factor for this armor. The Iron Set looks really cool, is way cheaper, has some higher resistance for at least one stat, and only a little less in the rest.

Worthwhile armor that is easily accessible. You want the plainest armor as soon as possible? This is the true all-reliable like the longsword. Not the best armor by any means but definitely the baseline when you need protection for your character.

the scale on the cuirass is absolutely awful; insanely wide and makes your character's torso look like a potato
Not bad. Not as good-looking as the DS3 knight set, but it's fairly stylish and the individual pieces match with a lot of other armors.

This is the best looking armor in game. But like others have said it really lacks cloak

I think the knight set from the ps5 version of demon souls is the best looking knight armor throughout all the fromsoftware games.

Visually this is a nice, clean, shiny, and well maintained version of the vagabond set. Which begs the question of... where is the damn sexy cape for the Knight Set?

This set + the ice crest shield and the darkmoon greatsword go well together, it seems almost intentional. I still wish the set had a bit more poise (47 for 5 more units of weight would be rly nice)

Combine this with the vagabond helm for the classic dark souls style

Just make your waist thinner at the mirror in the roundtable hold and this set becomes 10/10

This armor has crazy good weight to poise/dmg negation ratio

If the unarmored boots bother you, the Redmane Knight Greaves fit extremely well. Color and texture are very similar.
- Anonymous
If the unarmord boots bother you, the Radahn Knight Boots fit exceptionally well with the rest of the set and can be acquired very early in the game.

It seems the Vagabond set is just this armor but heavily worn, its most telling in the chest piece which has the same blue cloth and engraving on the chest.

The wiki does't say this on the set page, but it costs 13.500 runes for the full set

Bit of a tip if you want to wear this or heavy knight armor in general: Bring your character's body sliders all the way down. Like I'm talking low double digits. This will make them look much more athletic. With the default sliders, you'll just end up looking tubby instead.

I love this armor! My only gripe though is that weapons that go over the shoulder (one handed) in idle animation makes the teal cloth clip through the right shoulder pauldron. When you see it, you can't unsee...

Be a lot cooler if we could add a clean version of the cape from the Vagabond set

If you think about it, the game has 3 seemingly "poster" armors:
-Knight Set appears on the tutorial infos
-Raging Wolf Set appears on the trailers
-Fingerprint Set appears on the cover art

A nice clean metal set. Others may not like it for being simple, but I believe there's beauty in simplicity.

The Knight chest piece has the highest poise to weight ratio of any armor I’ve encountered thus far.

Royal Remains 1.41

The greaves are all also very high.
LEGS:
Bull-Goat 1.71
Knight 1.67
Crucible 1.67
Blaidd 1.65
Scaled 1.61
Cleanrot 1.39
HELMET:
Crucible 1.36
Blaidd 1.355

Why does the mail shirt go over the caftan near the arms but under it near the legs
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
I love this set but I wish there were more realistic simple armors like this like a gothic set or a 14th century looking set that uses a bascinet with klappsvisor
- Anonymous
Wish the mail shirt was consistent. Seems to be over the blue caftan or whatever near the arms but under it near the legs

Love the design on this. I usually swap it out for something with better defenses like the Scaled or Crucible sets eventually, but this is some of the best-looking armour in the game.

I think they blew their load early with Dark Souls 3's Knight armor set. That was just perfect in every way, aside from how the helmet played with most other armors. This one I want to like but there's just something about it, both in its colors, its metal finish, and the way it proportions your body that I was found disappointed with. If modding wasn't so liable to get you banned in these games I'd install a model swap of DS3's immediately.

In Elden Ring, you can use all sorts of cool sorceries and special weapons to defeat your enemies!
*equips this set*
*equips longsword and kite shield*
Yup, time to game

The Fingerprint Set seems to be this armor set, but crushed up. Really cool. Same weight and poise, similar stats across the board.

If you look closely at the patterns, the vagabond armor is just the knight armor that's been abused to hell and back.

My only complaint is the boots. The tops of the feet aren't armored and it kinda sticks out.
- Anonymous
Wish you could pull up the very visible blue hood on it. I wear it with the Greathelm, though, and I like it.
- Anonymous
Simple, clean knight armour with a smooth looking helm and a blue surcoat. No doubt this is our Elite Knight set, folks!
The set itself is gorgeous, but I wish I could alter it to change the color of the cloth to something other than Windows-98-Default-Desktop teal.

This armor looks so aggressively boring compared to the rest. But maybe that's the point.

Idk why- But my husk maidens aren't selling it- do I need to update?

damn, lady, what's with these prices? I work for a living out here
