Elden Ring Wolf's Assault Guide
- This is a Unique Skill
- FP Cost: 20
- Deals 23 stance damage.
- The frost buildup is applied on weapon hit, as well as explosion. Seemingly split evenly between the two.
- Frost build up should be at least around 115 after both hits.
- Tested on Omens in the Underground Roadside, two casts procs frost. With only the explosion, could not proc on the forth hit. Maybe be due to decay. Hitting them with the one frost stomp (140 frost), then could follow up with two explosion hits, or one full hit.
- This Skill is NOT Chargeable
- This Skill cannot be Parried
- This Skill can be Parried if performed with no Focus
- Wearing Spellblade Set increases the damage
Note: This Skill was changed with Patch 1.07 as follows:
- Poise during casting has been increased.

- This weapon art scales off of intelligence and weapon level only. The AR, STR, and DEX do not matter.

This weapon art only scales off of intelligence. Ar and str have nothing to do with damage.

Does anybody know how much frost buildup the wa does? Can you consistently apply frostbite with this? Looking for a flashy weapon for my frostbite build.

Seems like my previous assessment was wrong and this entire skill including the frost explosion scales with all 3 stats of this weapon.

Feels like this AoW would've fit better on the Zamor Curved Sword, but alas we can't have everything

This ash on a staff certainly would have made gandalfs staff hitting the ground spell moments look vanilla.

Your character absolutely freaks out mid-air way more than is necessary

Is this similar to the Lion's Claw Ash of War? Where you jump and slam the weapon down.
