Would be fun if it inbued your weapon with frostbite for 40 seconds after using it.
Slow, low damage, low frostbite build up, low poise damage (even lower than spinning slash!), basically makes this not worth using. If you really want to inflict frostbite with a weapon skill, use chilling mist which will proc frostbite near instantly on most bosses, and then swap back to your main weapon to take advantage of the debuff.

This weapon art only scales off of intelligence. Ar and str have nothing to do with damage.

Does anybody know how much frost buildup the wa does? Can you consistently apply frostbite with this? Looking for a flashy weapon for my frostbite build.

Seems like my previous assessment was wrong and this entire skill including the frost explosion scales with all 3 stats of this weapon.

Feels like this AoW would've fit better on the Zamor Curved Sword, but alas we can't have everything

This ash on a staff certainly would have made gandalfs staff hitting the ground spell moments look vanilla.

Watching that gif made me feel like i was in DS1. However i dont really remember the enemy that moves like that

Your character absolutely freaks out mid-air way more than is necessary

Is this similar to the Lion's Claw Ash of War? Where you jump and slam the weapon down.

there's some confusion in the comments - this is a 2-hit weapon art. #1 is the somersault stab, it is an enhanced hit art which deals Pierce type physical damage with added Frost buildup. This first hit strikes with the physical sword, so it scales with weapon AR, which is increased by weapon upgrade level and all the stats that the RGS scales with normally (STR, DEX, INT). #2 is the frost explosion, it is a bullet art which deals magic damage and frost buildup only, no physical damage. This magic explosion scales with weapon upgrade level and INT, not STR and DEX (the RGS is not infusable so weapon affinity does not affect bullet art damage with this sword).
