Gaius's Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Armor Set in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor. This armor set is great for heavy weight tank builds.
Where to find Gaius's Set in Elden Ring
- The helm, armor, and gauntlets can be purchased from Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold after defeating Commander Gaius. The Wolf Rider Enemy drops Gaius's Greaves. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]

Am I the only person who thinks this set looks nice? In contrast to the other thick armor sets it has an interesting texture and theme complemented by a generally nice color scheme.

One of my favorite Armor Sets for purely ironic reasons.
It's so goofy, and I can't get enough of it.

You know, I was starting to think that I might be unreasonable for wanting FromSoft to add armour that makes me look like a shingled roof, but I'm glad to have my doubts assuaged so thoroughly. Finally, my idea for a Hell House build can get off the ground!

Honestly feels like the defenses on this could be a bit better, considering the weight.

I love this Pinecone Armor set... I use the Solitude Helm, Prelates Gauntlets and Greaves with this.... Mini Tank!!!

"Oh, you thought the Malformed Dragon set was ugly? We haven't even BEGUN to show you ugly, you little twerps!"
- FromSoft dev, probably

A shame the chest and legs are so ugly, because the helmet and gloves are awesome. Paired them with a crucible chestpiece and oathseeker legs for a pretty good 2 tone fit, because no other black armor really fits well with it :/

Works well with the veteran set chest piece if you don’t like the chest piece from this set

Why would such a horrid boss have such an awesome looking armor set?!
- Anonymous
Lmao replace the leg with bull goat greaves fit better than the pants itself
The pants are just off color compare to silvery type of this set.

the chest is so comically big that it almost matches divine beast head

Guys guys I have a question, I am DESPARATE to find answer. I looked EVERYWHERE in the game and read ALL the wiki articles, their comments, and their dogs. So I HAVE TO ask. How to get PANTS???
- Anonymous
this set is irredeemably ugly,
execpt the gaunlets, those can stay, those are versatile asf
- Anonymous
They managed to make an armour set uglier than malformed dragon set.

Lacks about 1 or 2 points on poise... Tree Sentinel has 39 weighing 18.9 while this one 38 at 20.1... the same as veterans one that also weights 18.9
Nice looking Armor btw

Leggings might have the funniest item description in the series

I like how we have to murder his girlfriend on the hill to get his pants back from her.

For anyone confused about why the greaves aren't purchasable with the rest of the set: the description of the greaves says that Gaius was an albinauric (the silvery people who don't have functioning legs) and that the greaves were made for him as a cruel joke, so at least lore-wise it makes sense that he wouldn't have them.

Love it. Decent stats, good fashion. Looks great with Drake Knight Greaves, Omen Helm, Radahn's Helm, Gelmir Knight Helm, ...

PSA: for those wanting the full set, go to the area past Gaius' arena, an albinauric wolf rider drops his greaves.

There is definitely some deep lore behind why the wolf rider has this guys pants….

For those looking for the pants, just go a little further up the hill.

weird how you have to earn the legs but can buy the rest of the set, weirder yet you earn it from a enemie type that to my knowledge has no connection to the character...

his legs are not buyable from the finger woman? am i missing something?

You don't get the greaves from Enia......that's all I'm gonna say
- Anonymous
Downvote all you like
It's true. Got everything but the pants. The sword lance is lame. But it's not somber and the ash is pretty cool.
But yeah : zero pants.

Soooo.....I can buy everything but the greaves from Enia.
The greaves simply aren't there? As you might imagine....this looks pretty dumb without the legs.
Guess a glitch got em? Kinda lame but oh well, don't think I'd be using them anyhow. That fight was not easy!!

They cooked for sure with the rest of the armor sets in this DLC, but my god this set is atrocious. Like fr How. How do they keep missing on these sentinel style armor sets? The real cardinal sin is how ugly this mf looks.

Finally - a heavyweight armor that actually looks really good, W Fromsoft

This armor + Bull-Goats Talisman gets around 101 poise, passing the highest poise treshold in pve and being at the perfect limit to not go overboard

Replace the chest for draconic sentinel chestpiece for a slimmer look.

It looks so cool except the chest that makes you look like an angry crying kid coming for revenge. But on a real note, never seen such a balanced spread of elemental negations. Nice
