In tune with the lore, the high focus and lightrolling capabilities works great in the Abyssal Woods and in the fight against Midra.

The fact we find this set, worn by Melina, in the chamber next to Malenia, strenghtens the theory that in the beginning Melina was supposed to be Malenia in disguise.
That, and the fact that Melina has a tatoo on her eyes that is literally the foot of a "Waterfowl".
Yes, as in "Waterfowl dance".
The tatoo is shown to be a seal, and we know for sure Malenia learned the Waterfowl dance to seal her scarlet rot.
A shame that developers changed the lore to create a separate NPC.
Imagine realizing that the Malenia of the legends was actually the cute girl that followed us in the lands between.
Such a plot-twist.
Melina and Polyanna are both wielding the same weapon that is for a maiden, as well as this set.

Now it's totally reasonable that Millicent and Melina wear the same set if we assume the relationship between Millicent and Malenia is the same as that between Melina and Miquella, which is hinted by the promotion video of the DLC.

Would be sick if they had brought legacy sets from pervious games. I loved Undead Legion set. Also who wouldn't want to play this game in Havel's set.

I so, so, so, SO wish you could get this set earlier in the game. Like way, way earlier.
I can only hope that there's an update that adds another set to the game that you can acquire much earlier.
But I'm not holding my breath.

Glad we all unanimously agree that this is one of the comfiest sets in the game

Who at Fromsoft decided to put this, one of the best “simplistic” sets in the game, at the fricking HALIGTREE? That’s Endgame territory, why put it there?

Wish we had more of these kinds of sets in this game, but for males. Most of these kinds of sets in the game are for female characters, and most of the male-oriented sets are heavy, bulky armor. Idk, maybe I just wanna look comfy and not look like a fem boy or smth.

I wish we got a hood that added the cloak that Melina has, or even just an Altered version. Like don't get me wrong the Melina cosplay you can do with this is fine, but nothing compared to her with the cloak

Missed it in NG, went to NG+ saw this on the wiki, promised myself I would pick it up this time. Forgot all about it by the time I reached Haligtree again. Beat Mellina, went into the next new game. Third times the charm?

Greetings, traveler from beyond the fog. I offer you an accord.

It is very unfortunate that this set doesn't come with the cloak Melina wears.

TELL me why tf do I need it at the end of the f*cking game? Whats the point? I have completed the game. When I gonna wear it? If you tell me ng++ thats not an argument. I don't have time to replay this stupid ass game hundreds of times. Sorry for the outrage but I hate when games do that. Its not like an op edge overlord armor. No, its just a normal looking female clothes. Yet, you have to go look for it to the deep ass of the world.

Hope we get her cloak in a dlc or future update. Another cosplay build ruined. Thank you FS
one of the main reasons why i wish altering garments includes colour alteration :(

I really miss Melina bros... I miss the gentle way she knelt down at the bonfire before we talked, her proper little gestures and mannerisms, the soft way she spoke to me, everything... I know we throw the term waifu around a lot but she was the real deal <3

Why dont fextra admins use a female model for these type of armors?

While Melina does wear these clothes, this is called the Traveler's Set and is actually Millicent's Set. Millicent wears this EXACT outfit. Melina's outfit, on the other hand, has a hood. So, just call it Traveler's Set.

Completely baffled as to why they didn’t give us the cloak that she wears

It's also the set Millicent wears. Should probably be renamed to Traveler's Set.

Melina is just human shard of Marika, which she left when ascended to god-hood.
She knows the Sin of Marika.
