Practically speaking Malenia's armor set is unfortunately pretty damn bad. It has nearly the lowest elemental resistances of all armor sets and the physical resistances are very mediocre. Fine for cosplaying but that's about it, which is surprising for such a powerful endgame boss that conversely has a great weapon

I hate how you can't mismatch any piece from this armor set. It only looks good on you when have the whole set on. The red cape and the helmet go so hard but you gotta have a silly red wig on and wear a dress.

I'll never get over the fact that for all you go through to defeat Malenia, and if you then want to cosplay with this set, you get a whopping 37 poise. Adding the Bull-Goat Talismam only gets you to 49. They should have nudged it to 40, so with BGT you'd at least get into the entry level poise at low fifties.

Sure, you're not getting 80 or more that she supposedly has, but From could have thrown us a fricken bone for all that misery to earn it. So disappointing.

The opening scene for Malenia's fight makes it abundantly clear that her helmet does not have any artificial hair stuck to it - she puts the helmet on, in full view of the camera, and it's just the metal parts at that point.

We literally scalped her for the drip.

That helmet is the bane of me. I love it so much that it's the biggest reason I put up with the very lost Sekiro boss for so long. Drip is one hell of a motivator

Not even really from a morality perspective, but from a design perspective, but I wish they would have made her Armor/Clothes open up lower down the legs so that the upper thigh and groin isn't as open, maybe opening up a little bit above the knees. Not really expecting realism, just purely a design choice that I personally think would be better.

I personally hate this set. The helmet looks good but it has Malenia’s disembodied hair attached to it, the chest looks like a nightgown, and the weird feet leggings disturb me. I guess it’s fitting since she just woke up from a nap and her legs are a part of her body but geez give the warrior actual armor. And who in their right mind (don’t try to argue that Miyazaki’s in his right mind) would have prosthetic legs with toes? It’s just a disappointing set for the supposedly “undefeated” warrior.

The left hand of the player armor set is not the same malenia wears. Boss left hand is putrished but we can clearly see some sort of golen rings, while the armor set's left hand is just a brown glove

I see complaining about stats, but this seems like a good armor set for those aiming to reach light load for better rolls. Maybe some form of light armored melee build (hopefully they invested in enough vigor too).

Why is it so weak? I defeated Radahn 30 hours before Malenia and I am still wearing his set because the only alternative is Lionel's Set of which the aesthetics don't fit my playstyle.
