Solitude Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Armor Set in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor. Great damage negation and resistance make this set suitable for tank builds.
Where to find Solitude Set in Elden Ring

Perfect armor for a yung goat. (pvpers excepted, they just nerds)

>solitary gaol knight with high focus armor, implying that the knight spends time introspecting (like guts) (ok this one's a reach but this is the only one that's stretching it)
>armor like guts
>repeating crossbow like guts
>greatsword, and ik the GUGS already exists but the presence of one doesn't disqualify the other, like guts
>knight's model has a scar across the nose like guts
So how much further could they push the obvious Guts reference that is Solitary Gaol Knight outside of straight up naming him Guts?

This set is so special to me-when I first started the dlc at release, it took me so long to beat that dude. When I did, I tried to wear his gear but it was so gyattdaym heavy had to get like 30 levels more to wear it and the greatsword of solitude lol. But when I did, I just felt unstoppable. I became a mimic tear, slayer of gods. Awesome set.

Solid dude set? Yes.
Havel, but made of metal? Yes.
Guts? Absolutelly

The only people using this are tryhards ina Arena with maidenless weapons like Pata With status effect, thats why this is called the solitary armor, because this is for loner losers

Remove the cape and make yourself stupidly thin with a big head, use the Sword Lance with the Inverted Hawk Towershield and the Host's Trick-Mirror, maybe add in some Royal Knight's Resolve with a few stacking stamina boosts for maximal shield poking, and congratulations you've made a shitty Maldron DS2 cosplay that is 10% faithful the the original, 90% horseshit to fight, and thus it becomes 100% faithful to the original. Make sure to use the Casual Greeting gesture followed by the super awkward looking Warm Welcome gesture whenever you encounter literally anyone, run away to hide behind enemies, then go for the backstab while they are distracted, Point Downwards since it's pretty much the only even remotely aggressive gesture we have left. Man I miss Decapitate and other awesome DS2 gestures...

Poise should be removed from colosseums. Flat out. That way you can wear what you want, and people who can't PvP to save their lives will be exposed.

I have the scandalous opinion that this set looks rather bland. Perhaps it's because I haven't read Berserk, so it just seems to be gray plate mail with a cape. Still, I love wearing this for its stats. Focus and Poise are through the roof, helping me melt bosses with Unendurable Frenzy.

Miyazaki a real one for putting this set plus the greatsword at the very start of the dlc

Using this without helm and the solitude greatsword and heavy dryleaf arts. Idc if it's basic af or w/e, it looks good. I like how this set has high focus, implying these knights are probably meditating in solitude to heighten their spiritual status. Fitting style to finish the game with
- Anonymous
It stresses me greatly that the cape clips through most greatshields.
- Anonymous
Peak drip. Chest and legs go with a lot of closed helms and cloaks and the the prelatr gauntlets about give a Ringwraith vibe.

elden ring was really deprived of cool plate armors and though i'm ambivalent about SotE it definitely corrected that. this is the coolest one in the game i think

Most generic "big guy in armor" set in the game. But......man does it has a lot of focus.

My current drip is Solitude Set + Milady + Eclipse Shield -- turning my would-be Elden Lord into a walking hulk of darkened metal with a very graceful duellist/fencer aura— a fun way to blend good-looking defense with a fun quick-paced playstyle.

It’s probably just me who thinks this because I’m a Mad Tarnished. Clearly a Guts inspired armor to be sure. But the set gave me vibes of a slight nod to Nobodies from Kingdom Hearts, with the set being very greyed and stylish, while the lore spoke of warriors who gave up their hearts.
It’s so cool.

why does this armor look like havels set from dark souls series
- Anonymous
The gauntlets and greaves work great for most armor sets if you want Poise, works well with a LOT of armor sets.

Equip Dane’s footwork and dryleaf arts then change your name to “The Batman”. You’ll be the most feared invader of all time.

I wish there was an option to switch the color of armor sets. I had an idea, remove the cape then change this to crimson red and it would resemble the character Lord Deimos from Mace the dark ages, oh well.
- Anonymous
I just got this set last night and was dumbfounded by how much poise it has
- Anonymous
love how people wear this in pvp and think they have drip. no, my g, you're just wearing what everyone else is wearing.

Black iron tarkus
Knight slayer storig
Welcome back we have blackgaol knight now

why is this in section 10 and not 11, it literally hasthe 2nd most poise in game and iss the 2nd heaviest set in the game. why is it not in the category with fire prelate and bull goat and it is in the same category with veteran and tree sentinel. it doesn't changea anything it's just super weird

i hate when people complain about seeing the same armor every duel. yes, the big strong heavy armor with lots of poise is important in the game where you need more than 100 poise to not get staggered by a damn estoc. stop using oppressive BS if you want lower poise fashion to work out
- Anonymous
Chest and Legs of solitude, black hood and preceptor's gloves, 105 poise with bullgoat's talisman and looks sick as hell when paired with other black weapons like nightrider glaive, sword of night, or messmer soldier shield.
Another alternative is the Armor of Solitude with the head, gloves and legs of the Rakshasa set. With bullgoat talisman it hits the magic 101 poise for pve and you get the nifty Rakshasa damage boost.

If I pretend everyone who wears this armor in arena is the same person, then I have had hundreds of duels with you in the past few weeks. Let's get a beer sometime bro.
- Anonymous
it's such a pain in the arena, it's literally the best armor in the game as it has high stats and insane drip
- Anonymous
Hate to say it because it's a great looking set, but the guys running about in this I'd wager are the same group who religiously run the COD Ranked skins in pub lobbies. No shame in being into PvP but the energy is undeniable... I can feel you shaking your mouse about through my screen.

Fashion OFC 10/10 guys don't get me wrong but if used full without cloak alrdy marked as the new Lapp tryveryHard armor

Fashion-inclined Frenzy Flamers, rejoice. This set surpasses the Focus granted by dressing like Cuphead The Hutt.

Very good armor, I trade the chest piece for the raptor armor piece, 10/10
- Anonymous
I play light, but the gauntlets and legs sometimes helped me stay close to the weight threshold when I switched to lighter weapons than usual, like the perfume bottles. They're heavy looking but still pretty sleek compared to Lionel's or the Verdigris set, and don't clash too much with my beloved Ronin armor, the drippiest of the drips
- Anonymous
This shouldve been the new Bull-Goat, not the horrible ecxuse of drip that verdigris is

Awful, ugly, flags one as a roleplayer. Great costume for getting bodied in the arena.

One day Miyazaki will work out a licensing deal and just straight up put Guts in one of these games. You can tell he wants it SO bad
- Anonymous
Anyone else dissapointed this doesn't give 101 poise so you can actually reach that without bull goats?
- Anonymous
close enough, welcome back tower knight from demon's souls.
- Anonymous
Attractive.
Enough poise that you don't need Bull Goat to reach 88 poise.
And of all the sets with over 88 natural poise, this one has the best poise to weight ratio. It is heavy though.
It's an S-tier winner of a set on all fronts.
- Anonymous
Very nice. Honestly, probably the most attractive armor set FromSoft has ever produced. Hilariously heavy, though.

- Anonymous
I would love this set more if it hadn't become the replacement for the Bull-Goat that every uses to create mathematically min-maxed builds, it's kinda sad to watch people break this set apart for their pieces or using (may Marika forgive me) Sorcery/Bleed builds. We've had Havel Monsters, Bull-Goat Monsters and now, welcome to the hall of poise Solitude Monsters.

why are people so pissed about such an obvious berserk reference, just look at the guys face he has the exact same scar as guts

*Knight with a big sword and cloak or cape*
Everyone: "that's literally Guts."
- Anonymous

Easily the most accurate armor to guts' armor, if anything just not as sharp edged and a bit more tame
- Anonymous
This character is based off of Guts, don’t believe me? Search up what his face looks like.
- Anonymous
- enter dlc
- is strength build
- instantly find this set and sword
- cue dopamine rush for the next 50 hours
strength builds got fed well this time around, legit the coolest looking heavy armor in the game with insane fire and madness resist (for the pvp folk out there) and the best strength greatsword in the game with a built in projectile ash of war, that can combo into its second half for great damage and poise damage.
- Anonymous
I dislike that this guy is in the DLC trailer as a person and not only just as a phantom. From always cuts content from their games that really they should just keep.
- Anonymous
The greaves and especially the gauntlets go well with the Confessor chestpiece, if you want something Guts-y while having a lower equip load. It also stays above 51 poise, even without headgear
- Anonymous
Black iron set from dark souls, but it's shiny, and it has a cape? Siiiick
- Anonymous
i remember getting this at the very start... and never taking it off. my fave set, i think. The weight wasn't ever too much of a concern, and it was so bulky that I never felt overwhelmed by the insane damage. Also, all black will never get old ^^
- Anonymous
Head: Black Hood
Chest: Solitude
Arms: Solitude gauntlets
Legs: Ronin greaves
Looks pretty good to me
- Anonymous
Awesome armor, and very handsome. Hilariously heavy, though. Fashion tip: The chest piece can be replaced with Blaidd's armor.

Hierodas Glintstone Crown is a great alternate helmet for this set if you can't swing the Helm of Solitude.
Red blindfold adds a splash of color, while the black glintstone matches the rest of the set.
+2 Endurance means it literally pulls its own weight. The +2 Int is situational. And -10% FP shouldn't really matter.
If you're hesitant to put a statue beard on your femme Tarnished, just remember Lucatiel... and her bearded mask.

this without helmet + greatsword at the final fight of the dlc

For those who don't have enough equip load to wear this drip: It still looks cool if you use confessor gloves and leather boots

finally, a heavy armor set that is actually looks good instead of the usual fat obese man cosplay

Aren't the values wrong here? When I look in-game the base Physical defense seems to be the exact same as Veteran/Radahn armor, 35.588

This armor weights 57kg well you need 50 stamina to breath in it.
