Aren't the values wrong here? When I look in-game the base Physical defense seems to be the exact same as Veteran/Radahn armor, 35.588

I think it’s very cool that the Armor of Solitude offers far and away the best defense against madness in the entire game.

Looks good. Finally, I can be a heavy armor build, I usually don't care about "fashion" but the base game heavy armor is so ugly I refuse to wear it.

Black iron tarkus makes his return with machine gun crossbow in tow.

Dmg negation from armor does not add up. Wearing a full set of this armor I only get 35ish Phys Neg. Something is up with the math in the game, since the numbers displayed on each piece corresponds but when put on each piece does not add up to the number it should.
Helmet alone, 6.8... with chest it should be 25.5 but its more like 24.2 and so on.

It looks good but the stats are mid.
it's on par with the Tree Sentinel set but is several points heavier on each piece.
I don't know why it's built like that, for the weight it should have more stats.

Nobody else has really mentioned this, but this armor set has a ridiculously high Focus value.
It has the highest Focus value out of any complete armor set in the game, and it's the only heavy armor to do this.
The closest any other set comes is the Mushroom set, and sets like Seluvis's and Azur's (which both have hats that barely have higher focus)
It doesn't have the best other secondary stats, but this armor makes fighting Frenzy builds in PVP much more manageable.

well at least now we don't have to look at a fugly set like bull goats anymore

37 poise just from legs and gauntlets with a clean dark steel look. Finally I can complete my robe and hood with armored limbs look and still get 51+ poise.

This armor is the result of Tarkus, Havel and Lapp having a threesome.

Dropping this set right at the start of the DLC is a prove that we've been touched by the grace of Michael zaki

People are saying Guts, but honestly it feels very Medieval Darth Vader to me.

If you want to address the big torso, and possibly look like Guts more, make you char super skinny. I did Head 130, Chest 30, Abs 0, Arms 80, Legs 30.

The set didn't drop for me. It showed that I got it but it's not in my inventory. Anyone know of a fix? PS5

Best armor in the DLC. I would only use something else if they had a bonus effect, 99% of them don't...

Sooo... I went in, killed the guy, got the pop-up I got his Weapon/Armor, but the armor is nowhere to be seen in my inventory, the sword I got. Anyone else getting cucked?

Literally just started playing and immediately found one of the coolest armor sets I’ve ever seen in the game. 10/10 you did it again Fromsoft

Thank God we finally get a good looking super heavy armor. Praise the Elden Ring, Fromsoft touched grace

First thing FromSoft does in Shadow of the Erdtree, a mere few hundred meters from the start of the DLC, they invalidate the butt-ugly Bull-Goat and Fire Prelate sets by giving us a SPECTACULARLY GOOD LOOKING armor that has just 5 poise less than the Bull-Goat set (128 vs. 133).
Great job, From. Now we have a dignified heir to the Havel's and Giant's set, and we poise boys no longer have to go around with that horrid barrel shaped chest with horns that clip through weapons, that ridiculous helmet with a metal **** as an ornament, and those offensive-to-human-sight curly pointed boots.
