Verdigris Set Armor Pieces in Elden Ring
Verdigris Set Elden Ring Notes and Tips
- Boasts the highest poise and the second highest physical defense in the game, right behind the Bull-Goat set.
- Compared to the Bull-Goat set, Verdigris is 1.4 points lighter and has roughly the same stats when it comes to physical defense, meaning players wearing Verdigris can get roughly the same survivability from physical attacks that players wearing Bull-Goat get, all for slightly less weight.
- Verdigris also has slightly higher magic, fire, and holy elemental defense, but slightly lower lightning defense. Verdigris also has higher Immunity and Robustness, but substantially lower Focus and Vitality compared to Bull-Goat.
- The Verdigris Set has the highest Robustness in the game with a total of 245 when all armor pieces are equipped; the General Radahn Set and Lionel's Set are in second place with 235 Robustness.

Best armor in the game hands down. It really makes you feel like a tank

I like the look of this better than the Solitude armor, it looks like an ancient cyborg that was unearthed in the Lands Between

I can't bring myself to kill him... I just can't. He says I'm his only friend and the last remaining visitor now :(

good looking set, still worn by uglier people

OK so, this and the bull goat set have basically the same damage negations (but the Verdigris set has slightly more slash and pierce negation) and the same resistances (but the Verdigris set has noticeably more robustness at 245 compared to the bull goat set which only has 197 (it also has less focus and vitality but no one cares about those stats)). The main thing to pay attention to here though is the poise to weight ratio, both are tied for the highest poise in the game at 100, BUT, the bull goat set weighs 63 pounds while the Verdigris set only weighs 61.6 pounds. So here’s the conclusion: Verdigris set > bull goat set.

This set, if you exchange the Verdigris Gauntlets for the Solitude Gauntlets. weighs 2 less than Bull-Goat's (61 vs 63) while still giving you 100 Poise.

What is your duty?
To serve The emperor's will.
What is The emperor's will?
That we fight and die.
What is death?
It's our duty.

How does the Tarnished know what Verdigris is before asking Ansbach? How much does our character know and does not tell us?

Why do 90% of people in PvP that wear this play and act like a complete *******?
- Anonymous
People commenting on the poise are misinformed. Unless you are running the bullgoats talisman, this set doesn't pass the 101 poise threshold needed to avoid the next tier of enemy stagger. Without the talisman the poise is effectively the same as any set over 51 (again for PVE)

Verdegris appears to be a combination of the Latin words Verde- (green) and Igris- (game). Seems to match the theme of this set well.

Good for modding because it has posture id 0, and not 1, 2. Like the other heavy sets. Also hides the full body.

This set plus fingerprint shield (I use right hand AoW) plus nagakiba is the sweatiest build I've ever run. Doesn't look too bad either.

Funnily enough, I think this has no relation to the Outer God of Rot, as some have suggested. If you look at the faulds, they're remarkably similar to some of the adornments the Fire Giant wears. The engravings on the chestpiece are reminiscent of those found in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh (and everywhere else that belonged to that civilization). Lastly, compare the general vibes of this armor to the flame-spouting golems. Again, there's a striking a resemblance.
Since you find the Verdigris Discus in Rauh, I posit the theory that it was the people of Rauh (which seems to be connected to the giants) that forged this armor. The Kindreds of Rot that emerged in the nearby Church of the Bud, to whom Moore seems to belong, probably just picked it up (just like you do with the Discus) and gave it to their spokesman for protection.

As soon as I saw this armor In the trailers I've been waiting to get my hands on it, since, when I made my builds for the game I made a havel build, and I was waiting for the perfect armor. And then I saw the trailer and jumped in glee, hoping, praying we could wear this glorious set. That day has come my friend's, and so have I, for now I wear the most beautiful set since havels.

Never thought they'd add a super heavy armor to a Souls game that I genuinely want to wear, but I actually love this set. Despite belonging to an NPC, the lore is vague and intriguing enough that you don't feel like you're cosplaying him. It also has this power armor feel to it, as a couple of comments have already pointed out. Think Mjolnir, Praetor or Varia Suit. Good stuff.

Nice and green. Make your character skinnier and you could probably make a nice looking doomslayer build with this.

is there any way to get his set if u already killed leda and her allies without talking to moore? he's sitting in his starting position and he wasn't there for the boss fight
This armor set is bound to replace Bullgoat in PVP as the tryhard armor mostly because it has more elemental resistances to account for mages. But Madness is still very easy to apply on those wearing this armor set so that's a win for Madness Chads.

Use bullgoat helmet and pants with this chest and gauntlets for optimal defenses and fashion.

Is it worth trying to midroll in this? I crunched the numbers and full set plus any good colossal is deep in the 40’s for endurance, and that’s without a shield. Seems like a waste.

Switching to this armor set made the Consort Radahn fight kinda easy

"VS slash" is really high among all heavy armors (maybe highest ? idk), a lot of DLC boss/elite mob deal this type of dmg so its really useful
- Anonymous
Go very well with turtle shield for some reason maybe because of design
Also look really nice with nightrider glaive even though it is more of a black halberd than a greenish halberd
- Anonymous
I have 99 stamina and even if you hold no weapons or shields you still don't get a light load. Dang this set is SOLID.
- Anonymous
This is the new Lapp set. All the tryhard shitters are wearing it.
- Anonymous
im glad this set is mostly equivalent to bullgoats, because that set looks like ****.

fan of the chunky shoulders, like if the forest guardians of ds1 were morbidly obese

this armor set reminds me Dark souls 2 styles, same with you gamers ?

The people that call this set good looking probably also find sennesax peak

I dont understand why this set is getting a lot of hate I used this when the dlc first came out and I loved it my character looks like some kind of an ancient gladiator robot wearing this and I think its very cool for my strength build

And I seem to have locked myself out of the set such bullshit
- Anonymous
Wow dude, they make some new heavy bull goat armor but still refuse to give it 101 poise, making this as effective as any 51 poise set. I’d rather just stick to something that looks better than

About to hit 50 final boss kills as a tank build. Its hard to die when scadutree blessings and this give so much defense on their own. Its been nice tanking for all my homies out there, but I wish to test new weapons and spells now.

I generally don't like the super heavy armor sets, because they tend to look kinda stupid. This one, however, I do like. It has sort of a "power armor" thing going on, like in Fallout or WH40K. Definitely bulky, but in a way I can respect.

Galvan wheel galvan deal + the rock = this thing
A merchant who sell things (galvan) and have a shield that same name with the armor just like havel and havel greatshield

I choose Solitude over this, equal resistances but i get to look cool

Armor set looks like a darn Zaku from Gundam , gonna do a Zaku all hit run with one handed axe with this big boy armor set.
- Anonymous
Idk if there's really a connection between this armor and guardian golems, but this is the go-to armour to pair with golem greatbow/golem halbert for me

It's a shame one of the cleanest armor sets is being adopted by Kevins in pvp.

Reminds me so much of Havel's Set from Dark Souls. Closest thing we'll get to him.

I planned on writing some long comment to explain the name but I'm lazy : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verdigris

Pretty uninspired name for an armor set supposedly crafted by an outer god - practically just means “green-ish gray” lol
- Anonymous
from can you please give the heaviest armors 101 poise instead of 100, you know... so they are not the same as a 51 poise armor?
- Anonymous
Legandary armor that was smithed using metal gifted by an outer god, the sturdiest equipment in all the Lands Between and Land of Shadow... And it's worn by some random bum who probably can't spell his own name.

Mr. Zaki, can we get Havel's?

Should be listed as 38.505 Physical resistance, not 45. Bull Goat's general physical is the same for all armor pieces, so it doesn't make sense that this one is 45 but the bull goat is 38.505. I think the values were added together instead of properly calculating the returns.

oh my god is Fromsoft trolling again...... 100 poise armor which is as good as 51 poise armor because of the 101 breakpoint.....
seriously, f u Miyazaki u stingy merchant

DO NOT the wiki's full set values for all the new DLC armor. Negation doesn't stack additively, it stacks multiplicatively. Whoever made these pages clearly did not know how negation works, making them list all of them way stronger than they actually are. For example, Verdigris Set has some differences with bullgoat but it does NOT give 45 physical standard negation, it gives the same 38.505 that bull-goat does. I've seen this issue with all the new armors. Until Verdigris lists 38.505 I wouldn't trust any of these full set values
- Anonymous
Finally an ultra heavy armor set that doesn't make you look like a discord mod (lionel's set) or like you just made your own armor one day (bullgoat).

If you kill a pest just north of the Church of the Crusade it will trigger an invasion by Moore. If you defeat him, it will cause him to disappear and drop his set where you first meet him. This can be done to get the set and his shield almost immediately upon reaching the DLC

The Optimal Way To Get Vertigris Set & Greatshield AND To Make THAT Fight More Easier Is To Tell Him To Be Sad Forever After You've Beaten Rellana And Are On Your Way To The Shadow Keep. You Will Hear Miquella Breaking/Discarding His Great Rune And You'll Also See 2 Dialogue Prompts After The Sound Indicating That He Has Done It. This Means Miquella's Charm Over His Servants Is Broken Forever. Go Back To Moore And Talk With Him. You Should Get A Dialogue Prompt About Him Either "Putting It All Behind" Or "Remain Sad Forever" Or An Inconsequential Third Option. Tell Him To Remain Sad Forever Which Causes Him To Die Just A Bit North From Church Of The Crusade. If You Tell Him To Put It All Behind Him He Will Retain His Belief In Miquella And Will Throw Hefty Scarlet Rot Pots At You During The Penultimate Fight In The DLC And You Will Get His Gear (Which Includes By Far The Best Armor Set In The Game) At The VERY END OF THE DLC Instead Of Way Earlier AFTER BEATING ONE BOSS That Is Rellana.

literally copy pasted stats with bull goat set only difference is model and its a bit lighter and it has the same 100 poise which cant tank 2 hits what a disappointment they refuse to add a counterpart of havel set
another note they should add under the 'comparing to bull goat armor' list is
>looks leagues better than bull goat lmao
