Just about any time someone is low on health and panicking in PvP they start spamming this.

Can this be parried? I just fought someone who did not throw any other attack than this and no matter how many times I tried I couldn't parry it. Is this just a skill issue or is this thing broken?
Isn't only the backhand blade infusible? If so then we have an ash of war that works in a single weapon. I hope not, it would be a waste.

“let there be rump…” ‘cause they didn’t have to put that much booty in the thumbnail, but they did. they did that for us. Lol.

...you just take it off from backhand blade similarly how you take off spinning strikes of Edgar's banished knight halberd.

this is found on the backhand blade, north-northeast from the scorched ruins site of grace

I genuinely can't wait for this to get nerfed. They either need to gut the i-frames, or add some meaningful recovery to the move.

Someone said that you can use Lost Ashes of War on the Smithscript Cirque/Backhand Blades and you'll get this out of it... I'd hate to spread misinformation, so please give this a cursory test at your own convenience.

Hello Bloodhound Step 2.0. This **** is going to get absolutely face-planted into the nerf dirt.

did anyone find the AoW of this thing yet? I'd love to put it on the standard backhand blade but as keen

If you're primarily a melee build, playing passively or using ranged AOW is the best way to deal with anyone using this ash. They'll be able to reaction punish a lot of your melee attacks, so there's really no point in aggressing if they're at least a decent player.

It is overtuned af in PvP.
It's lightning fast, you literally cannot roll away quickly enough if you are using something heavier than a greatsword and just attacked once. And seemingly it has i-frames. Just complete BS.

Best ash of war in the game! Why parry when you can miss timing and STILL slip behind an enemy and attack for 700+ damage...
Also, the blind spot AoW works with the spear talisman to boost damage by a couple hundred damage! So good!
