this thing somehow make you dodge earlier & make anything that guarantee true combo become no longer true combo.

"The lunge attack deals piercing damage, and thus is affected by the Spear Talisman" personally tested damage does not change

This weapon with swift slash ash of war is ****ing broken in PvP. Add rot grease and ggs. All you'll see is this once more people catch on

I don't think it needed a magical anime dash with iframes and more damage than a charged heavy attack, but I guess that's why I'm not making the big bucks
Backhand blade shows in menus like it does not have any ash at all, same as Misericorde or Giant Crusher. Which means you cannot put it anywhere else, but also means you cannot infuse the weapon with any affinity witout losing its unique skill. Say good bye to better scaling, and to elemental damage\status buildups without consumables. Maybe it's an attempt to make it less OP?

Shame we can't put it on a dagger. It would fit super well, but logic dictates it would also be too op

Is there no way to counter this? People can spam this with reckless abandon with seemingly no downside, you can't even trade with it. Holy F

Seems to have i-frames? at the initial lunge only though, but seems like less than quick step. Haven't frame counted or anything, tested in castle sol against the spectral banished knights.
Just going based on vibes.

katana's unsheathe + bloodhound step strafe. Just use this as a better dodge button.
Is this easy to parry? Seems like it comes at a funny angle
