Scatter perfumed powder before you, triggering rolling explosions of deadly sparks. The properties of the sparks are determined by the perfume bottle used.

Rolling Sparks is a Skill in Elden Ring. It was added with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Rolling Sparks scatters perfume before the caster, which triggers several spark explosions. Rolling Sparks has Standard Affinity and is usable with perfume bottles.
How to get Rolling Sparks in Elden Ring
- The location of the Ash of War is in the camp to the southeast of Shadow Keep. There are three perfumers, and the scarab is flying in the air in the direction of the main camp. It's high in the air and tough to see if you don't look up. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]
Elden Ring Rolling Sparks Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Rolling Sparks
- FP Cost: 14
- Deals 3.2 stance damage for each explosion
- This Skill is not Chargeable.
- Shoots a trail of perfumed powder before the user, consisting of several hitboxes that explode and hit enemies multiple times

- Fixed a bug that caused the skill to deal no damage while some special effects were applied to the player.

What people who say "nooo you must use the tools provided in the game like mimic and bleed instead of fighting braindead melee"
do after I hit them with 16K dmg rolling sparks (it's made to be a tool in the game):

You can still get big damage numbers with this. Just because it doesn't oneshot anymore doesn't make it bad.
You people need to get a grip.

Umm....did anyone else have the problem where the skill doesn't actually do the right skill? Like, it SAYS I have this skill on, but the effect is just Wall of Sparks instead.

Have yet to test it, and was planning to do so today. The irony that the closest skill to actual fireworks in this game has been nerfed on the 4th of July is worth an amused smirk though.

I hope they dont make it unable to multihit, just lower its damage and stagger and assume multihits is the intended amount of times the skill is meant to strike because trying to aim this in creative ways is genuinely fun but it just does so much damage right now

If you aim it at the ground, it's very easy to have all of the sparks stack up on top of each other and deliver 15kish damage. Enjoy it before it gets hit with the nerfbat.

radahn just felt the might of a thousand storm clouds thanks to this
This ash plus Lightning Perfume Bottle +25 knocked down the Furnace Golem in front of Shadow Keep in about 15 seconds, and all I needed was one critical hit when it was down to finish it.
If you aim at the ground, it causes this massive explosion of damage. Can be hard to hit, but it pays off.

it feels like a bug, but whenever you're blank range with an enemy the follow up hit with the charged variant doesn't connect with all/any of the sparks making it do uncharged dmg when you're too close

Strong AoW for perfumes.
Fully charged, each explosion can deal a lot of damage, especially with Perfumer’s Talisman + Alexander.
It’s a bit faster than the regular charged attacks, is cheap enough.
I only have Fire & Lightning bottles (Poison is unique), but Lightning Rolling Sparks hits hard on Renalla. If all of them hit.
The skill can actually deal a nice amount of damage if many explosions hit, but I feel like each individual explosion should have a significantly higher AOE so that it would hit multiple times much more consistently, even against quite large enemies the damage varies too much due to small explosion hitbox.
