Rallying Standard is a Skill in Elden Ring. Rallying Standard is a special ability that is only available for the Commander's Standard, and cannot be added to another weapon using Ashes of War.
How to get Rallying Standard in Elden Ring
- Default skill for the Commander's Standard.
Elden Ring Rallying Standard Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is a unique skill.
- FP Cost: 30.
- Duration: 30 seconds (39 with Old Lord's Talisman).
- Damage +20% (2.5% in PvP)
- All Damage Negation +20% (5% in PvP)
- This skill is not chargeable.
- This is an Aura Buff and will not stack with other buffs of the same type.
- See Buffs and Debuffs for more information on stacking buffs.
- BUG: As of Patch 1.07, being buffed by this skill will cause certain weapon skills to deal reduced or zero damage:
- Hand of Malenia - Waterfowl Dance deals greatly reduced damage (reports vary; some say low as 1%)
- Starscourge Greatsword - Starcaller Cry will not deal damage with the first animation (the vacuum roar)
- Wing of Astel - Nebula will not deal damage. Bastard's Stars version of Nebula will still deal damage.
- More unique weapons & other skills may be affected; additional testing required.

It makes sense that this is so much nerfed in PvP, as this is also a really good PvP weapon being the longest halberd in the game,

It sucks that this is staying so nerfed in pvp for it's effects yet the Jellyfish Shield can still give the full 20% damage buff WITH lower fp cost. The hell from?? They effectively nutered this weapon and it's cool gimmick of waving it's flag for a boost in power. Now it's skill is just pretty to look at while giving too little to be considered a buff.

The amount of hosts I see using this and then casting golden vow is staggering.
- Anonymous
If they're gonna nerf the skill by THAT much in PvP I dunno why they don't just ban the weapon outright, instead of lamely trying to pretend it's still usable.
- Anonymous
Can confirm buff duration is extended (to 39 secs) by Old Lord’s Talisman as of 1.08.
- Anonymous
2.5% in PvP. So the effectiveness is reduced by a factor 8 versus a factor of 2 for Golden Vow. Why?
- Anonymous
so if you're an invader and you buff enemies with this does it use the 2.5% pvp scaling or 20%?
Patch 1.08 still has the bug where it reduces the damage of some certain weapon skills when buffed with Rallying Standard. I hope they will fix this soon.

Since this isnt a spell it shouldnt work with old lords talisman

Who needs 25 faith if you can get this for just 24 strength and it gives better buffs

"Duration: 30 seconds (39 with Old Lord's Talisman)."
On the talisman page, it is mentionned that it does not affect buffs created by ashes of war. Which one is correct?

How is something as niche as this nerfed so damn much in pvp. But bleeds builds are allowed to hit me once or twice and I bleed for 95% of my HP.
+20% ALL DAMAGE FOR YOU AND YOUR SUMMON ... includes spells, weapon skills and physical damage. Plus -20% damage for you and your summon.
Tested with Ice Spear Ash of war, Cannon of Haima sorcery and Physical damage with a Halberd.
This BUFF is Amazing and it's worth getting 24 STR just for this.

It also buffs spells (sorceries and incantations) dunno by hm tho. You can see 3 buff icons appear when u use the skill underneath ur status bars, and one if them is the spells buff) And it stacks with talismans that boost sorceries and incantations

Its not the number here are wrong whoever runs this website needs to update a lot of the numbers this should be golden vow and vise versa stats. Tested and retest multiple times.

I really don't understand why this is so nerfed in PvP, especially the damage increase which is completely useless. 1/2 would've been more than enough of a nerf.

Golden vow incantation is better imo. It just Lasts much longer to justify the 10% less damage. Unless you actively want to use it beyond the buff. Not a bad weapon at all.
Pair with boiled prawn for mega damage negation or exalted flesh for damage(these two don't stack)

This weapon is useless in PVP. Golden vow ash of war has 5% more damage, same negation, and lasts 15 seconds longer, and can also be applied to any weapon you want. Only drawback is 20 more FP cost, but that is massively outweighed against the other pros.
This should have a 10% damage buff rather than 2.5%. Shorter duration and having to lug around a heavy halberd should balance well against pocket golden vow daggers.

How could something so effective in PVE be so useless in PVP?
Compared with Golden Vow’s Ash of War, you get 5% more damage and 10% more damage negation for a lower FP cost and 15 seconds less of buff time. This seems like a solid pick for people who don’t want to keep using the FP heavy golden vow to keep upping their damage.
So why the f*** did they decide to reduce its AR buff to 2.5% for PVP and it’s damage negation to 5%? Golden vow puts out 5% more damage in PVP, the same damage negation, and lasts 15 seconds longer. All for a measly 20 additionally FP. This is so stupid. If you have a shorter lasting buff, the damage should be slightly HIGHER than a comparable longer lasting spell, not lower. There’s literally no reason to use this buff in PVP over the Golden Vow ash of war, it is 100% obsolete. They need to rework the values for PVP to make this viable, also it weighs a ton as opposed to throwing golden vow on a dagger in another slot. Makes no sense.

Why not say if it stacks with other things without having to go read alot more stuff to find it... isn't this the wiki? Meaning you get all information about someone/something. If you all are short on staff and time trying to get all this out pay me and I'll test everything and post it on here. It's crazy some of the comments have more information than the actual post

Checked on Yapped,
PvP values are 2.5% damage increase and 5% damage negation

Damage negation for bosses that has low window count, damage buff for beating up bosses that has big windows. Useful but unfortunately you usually won't be using both effect to the 30fp worth.

Yeah multiple weapons will do no damage with their weapon arts while this is active. Death Ritual Spear, Gargoyle's Blackblade, Rosus' Axe are the ones that I've found. Bad day for necromancers. Good thing the broken Death's Poker weapon art works just fine and does even more damage stacked with this, Terra Magica, and the physick tear.
- Anonymous
Millicent's Waterfowl Dance is also affected by this bug weirdly enough. Does 1-2 damage if you buff her with this
- Anonymous
Wonder if this can do the 'wrong status' bug so that you can kill hosts who aren't being very cool
- Anonymous
Stack with Magic-Shrouding and Cerulean Tears and Terra Magicus for a pretty solid magic buff stack, without requiring any points in Faith.

Rallying Standard makes the Ash of War for Death Ritual Spear do no damage at all

I love that this pops up when I Google "Banner of Command"
If you know, you know.

Nice buff but 30 seconds makes it pointless imo.
By the time the boss has stopped jumping around at mac speed you lucky to get one hit in, I think there are much better things to spend the FP on.
If they buff it to 1 min I might consider it.

after Rallying Standard buff Hand of Malenia weapon art, Eaterfall dance, deals 5-10 dmg per hit
Clearly a bug

Despite not being a Sorcery or an Incantation, the buffs granted by this skill are extended to 39 seconds by Old Lord's Talisman.
- Anonymous
Doesn't appear to stack with Golden Vowprobably occupies the same buff-type slot. Does however stack with Black Flame's protection.
- Anonymous
this skill buffs all damage and allies damage, also reduces incoming damage? perfect for more mage-leaning battle mages and also for doing a buffer class, 9/10 weapon, probably my most used tbh
- Anonymous
It last 30 sec and increased dmg and def by 20%, so a bit better than Golden Vow.
O Flame as well as Catch Flame do zero damage with Rallying Cry (Commander's Standard) buff active in 1.09.1. Haven't tried other pyromancies yet, but nonetheless very lame.
