The skill will be found lacking vs players that are decent at PvP but I’ve had a tremendous amount of fun using it for invasions. I have been able to one-shot about 80% of players that are hit with both the roar and explosion. Hits through walls, floors, and ceilings. It’s most effective when used this way because it is more difficult to time your roll correctly to avoid either. Can also be effective when used in conjunction with the mimic’s veil. Pretty hilarious.

TLDR: This skill is great ambushing.

Increases all damage negation (+50%) momentarily while in combat, and only while in combat. The followup can be used to extend the duration of the defense buff up until the gravity wave explodes.

Found this out by pure chance while in arena.

        • If you wield the Highland Axe in your offhand, it will boost the damage just like the Roar Medallion, they stack. You can even powerstance the Starscourge Greatsword and recieve the effect.

Best AoE ash in the game. Not only hits enemies through walls, it goes through floors & ceilings too. If I hear anything walking above or below me I’ll hit it for easy kills usually.

Vertical range is sick too, I’ve used it to kill archers on rooftops from underneath or pull them off to finish on the ground.

Best ash for clearing rooms before walking in, shutting down ambushes & hidden enemies.

Did some testing by using the Flame Grant me strenght miracle that should boost phisical dmg by 20% and got mixed result tought I'd share Ash of war gravity pull in dmg increase: 10%, wich tells us the attack does half phisical half magic damage Ash of war smash dmg increase: 13% wich tells us about one third of the attack is magic damage Heavy attack dmg increase 15% wich tells us about one fourth of the attack does magic dmg Apparently different attacks rely more on different damage typed and/or scale off of int/str or dex more? If anyone does more testing feel free to share, love this weapon
