Elden Ring Shared Order Guide, Notes & Tips

- See Buffs and Debuffs for more information on stacking buffs.

This ash is insanely useful: it makes ALL(!) your weapon attacks deal 50% more damage and perma death to the undead, because this is an aura. This means you can cast the ash with offhand then use for example the weapon art of Bolt of Gransax to snipe any undead and keep them dead. This is means easy mode in crumbling farum azula and in any tombs or graves (not to mention DRBs). Worth picking up on every playthrough.

I like this more than the golden vow ash personally. No defense bonus but the damage one is nearly the same.
The half cost and 15 extra seconds of duration means more fp to use for spells and weapon skills, and you don't have to reapply the buff as much. To compare golden vow gives 45 seconds for 40 fp, and shared order gives 120 seconds for 40fp. I think it's at least worth considering which one is better for how you play since there's a good argument for both.

Not quite Golden Vow, but also not quite Golden Vow at home...

Lads, get this Ash of War on one weapon, get the Sacred Order on your offhand, and then grab the Jar headgear, Companion Jar Talismans, and Sacred Scorpion Charm. Finally use the Holy-shrouding Cracked Tear on your Physick, and watch as a build with faith as a dump stat kills the late game Deathrite birds in 2 or 3 holy water pots. I can only imagine what a dedicated Faith build will do with this setup and the Sacred Order Pots lmao

Since this is an aura buff, I can combine it with an actual weapon buffs like swapping to another weapon and using sacred order, right?

You will normally want Golden Vow over this. However, this has a very specific niche use, where it absolutely excels: murdering late-game Death Rite Birds. Throw this on, use Holy cracked tear, use Sacred Blade on the head, and watch the Consecrated Snowfields DRB die very quickly before it can do its absolutely broken damage numbers to you.

Huh. This is an Aura buff and therefore doesn't stack with other Aura buffs. Its +10% buff obviously isn't as strong as its competitors (Rallying Standard's +20%, Golden Vow Spell's +15%, Golden Vow Skill's 11.5%) BUT it only costs 20 FP to use (vs 30 for Standard, 47 for GV Spell, 40 for GV Skill) and it lasts 60 seconds (vs 30 for Standard and 45 for GV Skill, although GV Spell lasts 80 seconds). And unlike Last Rites, it can be used with no Faith investment at all, applied to something as light as a dagger. So it's an extremely resource efficient little damage buff that as far as I know (haven't tested it) works on bows (because it's an Aura buff), presumably giving bows a way to deal with skeletons (but not imps or miners or other things that bows suck against). The nonexistent stat cost, relatively long duration and relatively low mana cost make this something you can slap on any build that can spare the weight of a dagger and doesn't have any better Aura buffs. The next most efficient damage buff route I think is to get 15 Faith and the Golden Epitaph sword (easy but time consuming grab very early on if you know where to go) and stack its skill with Flame Grant Me Strength, but if you want NO faith and don't have a gigantic FP budget, use this. A comment on the Last Rites page claims that this skill (but not Last Rites) even buffs spells, so it seems likely to be a good carry on a no-faith Sorcerer (although if you have Sorcerer level Mind investment then you might decide to use Golden Vow skill instead for the teensie bit higher damage and addition of damage resistance, but you're spending way more mana for less duration so that's definitely expensive.)

for those who dont know addint this buff also applies to ranged ashes of war like glintstone kris has and permanently kills undeads with it. Great ash of war in farum azula to carry around.

This aow is bugged as well as Last Rite aow. Aow like Storm Blade does 0 damage in pvp and pve when buff is applied. Waterfal dance does reduced damage too when the buff is applied. Fix it.

I carry a spare weapon with this on it now, you can pop the buff then swap it out for another weapon/ shield and retain the effects of it, a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!

To save people from dumping their points into faith: the damage does not scale. It is simply a flat 10% buff.

Does anyone knows if this is nerfed on PVP like most other buffs are?

This skill overwrites golden vow, as it is an Aura buff.
Would be handy if we had a page with the different buffs and their "slots".
I'd make it myself but I havent figured this place out yet

weapon with this buff + sacred blade = 2600
weapon with this buff + sacred blade's projectile = 3750
weapon with this buff + sacred blade's projectile on enemy's back = 4750

damage to undead be like :650 when no buff / 1100 with this **** / 1550 with sacred blade / 2600 with this **** + sacred blade

works on the bubbles and stacks with bloodboil perfume, sacred order, and flask with holy and faith for maximum Doots
Upon testing, this appears to add +10% Holy damage to BOTH weapons for 45 seconds (tested from as soon as I was able to swing weapon). CAN NOT be used on each weapon to stack the +10% Holy damage buff multiplicatively. Doing so only refreshes the duration of the buff. Testing data compared to the two other Sacred weapon buff Ashes of War can be found here: https://i.imgur.com/7HAhNS7.png
