Lorewise this is quite an interesting ability. Most Outer Gods manifest their power in some sort of fire with special properties. The Formless Mother has blood fire, the Frenzied Flame has madness fire, the Greater Will has holy fire (Elden Beast breath attack), the Fell God has the flames of ruin, and we also have a nameless god that manifests the ghostflame. If Miquella is indeed related to Trina, I wonder if he aligned himself with an outer god that produces sleep flames, despite promoting tools like the needles to avoid that contact.

The skill should be buffed to have longer range and to follow an arc trajectory like fireball spells, and the weapon moveset of the torches should be buffed with all torches being given the fire damage version of this skill... If From did these simple changes, the torches would actually be used by other players.. I can only hope we get major buffs/changes like those for the dagger, claw, and fist weapon classes.

Wish this did at least a small bit of damage. It just feels kinda weird to me that it deals no damage.
The correct way to use this thing is breathing on the ground. Seriuosly.
It seems that if you blow the fire on the ground, it remains for some seconds and causes Sleep over time. Tested on the black little octopus thing
Just tested this weapon art against random undeads and 2 uses doesn't even put him to sleep... It deals no damage, but stil aggro the enemy when hit. I used it against a troll and it didn't even hit him (the fire was 100% touching him). Seems bugged and/or unefficient.

Does anyone know if/how this scales? I'd test, but I NG+ recently and haven't got to Moonness yet

Two changes I would make to the St Trina Torch and Skill. The torch 100% should scale off Arcane (D). The Skill's fire should last in the air for a longer distance or even infinite distance so that it actually touches the ground. That way you can kinda paint the ground of Sleep Fire.
Should be called the Cosby of Slumber
