This skill makes Malenia look like a tutorial boss, with standard buffs and talismans she dies during 1-2 casts in phase 1, and 2 during phase 2. Because of all the hits the skill does she can't actually move in either one and when she attempts to use Waterfowl it gets interrupted.

I don't know if it's because of patch 1.10 but bloodbon ritual doesn't deal damage to the man serpents only the bleed damage maybe it's bugged?

I think this is one of if not the most damaging attacks you can get access to, I've done 10,000 damage in one full ritual and nearly one shot Malenia.2

There seems to be a bug with this, where you are immune to grabs when performing the skill. As if it wasn't broken enough already.

if you want to get the other two ending achievements but you dont really want to play the game, take this, go to Rennala make an build with 60 vigor and get poise over 80 while every free skill point gets invested into arcane. even enemies that cant bleed get a ton of dmg by the fire damage that gets done by this. only takes one or two times use for the first 5 bosses, was really a walk in the park and braindead af

and to "Why not use X instead?" this thing ingnores walls and ones you start dealing damage it casts kinda fast, so dont have the boss focused on your or punish an attack and you will have a great time.

I’m using the weapon on a faith/arcane dragon communion caster build with minimal dex and str and this aow deals more dmg while cost less fp than my breath spells like wtf

Does the "bloodflame" this weapons grants after using the skill really apply the bloodflame blood build up or even a standard extra build up? I tested it on greyoll and it took the same amount of hits (8 with +10 and 60 arcane) to proc bleed.

Done some testing, and this skill doesn't scale with your strength, it only scales with arcane.
2 handing doesn't increase your damage.
Anything that boosts your general damage output or fire damage will be of benefit.
Summery: Invest in Arcane, Fire, and Blood Loss buffs.
