I combined last rights with the treaspear AOW sacred order and it was doing over 1300 damage for a light attack on a undead while it was just level 15

This aow is bugged as well as Shared Order aow. Aow like Storm Blade does 0 damage in pvp and pve when buff is applied. Waterfal dance does reduced damage too when the buff is applied. Fix it.

I don't know if it's due to the 1.07 patch but last rites makes enemies inside the cloud from sleep pots take damage tiks

There is a strange glitch while you have this buff active. If you summon the spirit wolves and go near enemies your character and the wolves will start taking 1HP of damage for some reason.
Does not boost spells, unlike Shared Order.
Which is strange considering they basically do the same thing and override each other (because both are aura buff, just like Golden Vow)
I tested with all 4 element basic spells: Glintstone Pebble (the sorcery, not the skill) for magic, Flame Sling for fire, Discus of Light for holy, and Lightning Spear for lightning.
Shared Order adds damage to all these spells, but Last Rites do nothing.
Both skills add holy damage to melee attacks as expected though.

does the buff to allies include spirit ashes, or just human allies?

The buff gives an extra 25 holy dmg, but is not needed to permakill skelis, the weapon has this ability already.
This is the only skill in the game that uses the Haligtree incantation motif, the same one you get when you use Miquella's Needle.

If you apply this buff to yourself and have a weapon with the Ash of War Vacuum Slice. The blade projectile does 0 damage (but will still do posture damage). Probably a bug.

This skill is noteworthy in that it applies Sacred Order as a self buff rather than an armament buff, so you can change weapons freely. I don't think any other skill or incantation does that. Super helpful for areas with large numbers of undead enemies, as Sacred Order stops them from reviving.

Sacred Order - Provides the Sacred affinity, which adds Holy damage and Faith scaling, decreases physical damage, most damage negation.

It buffs attack power +25 for 45 seconds and you can switch to main weapon without it disappearing, like I've noticed with other buff weapons.

Just for everyone asking, it has a Holy affinity and Sacred Order infuses Holy on everyone’s weapons

Apparently this also buffs Holy Water Pot against Undead. Making me deal several thousand damage against Skeletons and Deathbird.
