Great on a Broadsword for Strength/Int builds. If you make it Heavy Infused, you can toss on Scholar's Armament for even more damage. Gives you a fast Strength weapon that still has a large, damaging hitbox with alot of poise damage when its needed.

      • Tested on a Nagakiba+25 @ 52 Int/Magic infusion w/ Godfrey Icon & Shard of Alexander.

Fully charged, hit for 2.7k on the thorn sorceror @ Whiteridge Road site of grace. Fully charged w/ Terra Magica, hit for 3.5k+. Adding magic boost physick, hit for 4k+.

This ash hit way harder than I expected on this spellblade build. The obvious drawback is the considerable wind-up on the charge, prob would not recommend for PvP (duels at least; could def get some hilarious kills from blind spots in team PvP/invasions).

For PvE, this is a potential huge damage dealer for bosses, and one-shotting tougher enemies like trash.

Best way to land a fully charged hit is to start the wind-up just as they’re about to be in range, so they walk or charge into it.

I wish that Elden RIng had a Broken Sword, so I could put this aow in it and have a broken sword that shows its once full power through magic :(

I like the skill and the intelligence scaling it can give to big weapons, unfortunately i overestimated its range and now that I've had time to use it I don't think its as useful as some other ashes of war skills because of the charge up time, compared to the time it takes to cast its damage and range are regrettably low, and this makes it less useful against enemies you want to keep a distance from or who are prone to dodging.

Gives your sword Int scaling. My broadsword went from D scaling in Str to D scaling in Int with an E scaling in Str.
