Eruption is a Skill in Elden Ring. Eruption is a regular skill that can be found in Ashes of War, this skill can be used on large colossal Swords, Axes, and Hammers. Updated to Patch 1.07

- This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Eruption.
- FP Cost: 14 on use.
- Deals 22 stance damage
- This Skill is not Chargeable
- Both of this Skill's attacks can be Parried
- Upon activation, the user slams the armament to the ground in front, creating a small patch of lava at the point of impact that lingers for a few seconds.
- Damage wise, Flaming Strike deals significantly more damage even when taking into account the lava pool damage.
NOTE: This Skill was changed with Patch 1.07 as follows:
- Range and duration of lava have been increased.
- Hitbox to the part of the attack where the weapon is slammed has been added.
- Timing of the poise increase during activation was fixed.
AnonymousNever joined Volcano Manor, got into it via the Abductor. Cleared the whole thing. Later came back to Warmaster's Shack and the dude was dead.
His Bell Bearing did NOT get me his fire related ashes of war. Only the ones he sells at the shack. Something to keep in mind if you wand this ash.

Use this on great stars with heavy affinity and with bloodflame on

itthe flame trail also apply rot on rotten great axe, combine with bloodflame blade = ultimate status buildup

Anon 28th June 21:03 asks why would anyone use this instead of flame of the Redmanes. The answer is simple really. Some players use ROB and FotR to beat the game for them and some have skill and prefer something with a bit more nuance than repeatedly spamming the L2 attack over and over with no need to put any thought into it.

I didn't like this at first I was comparing it to prelates charge but I've used it for a while now and this is a good AoW in its own right.

Seems kinda whack, not sure why you'd use this instead of Flame of the Redmanes?

Good for strength build as fire scales entirely with strength. If the first hit connect the follow up eruption will guarantee to hit. Unfortunately the tracking isnt the best so you cant really do a 180.
For some reason this bounces off some shields I think. I usually test stuff on the Prayer Room's Cleanrot Knight and when it does the block attack this thing bounces off of it. I doubt it's intended. Most other ashes don't.
