The actual Moment where the extra damage procs is kinda small but if you hit it it feels sooo good

The window to land this on enemies that can only be momentarily stunned by the sleep effect is unnecessarily tight. Using the skill to sleep an enemy and then using again immediately after is too slow to proc the bonus damage, it's ridiculous. I've only been able to land it on enemies that get slept and stance broken on the same attack. Love this weapons aesthetic and concept but it desperately needs a buff in PvE.

"If an already slept or poisoned enemy is attacked by the follow-up attack, it will deal significant damage."
Does it actually work on poisoned enemies or is it false information?

did some testing to see which stat scales better, kinda weird
tested this without any talismans,or outside boosts just stats.Subject was a rune bear on rauh base cause they have big hp pools and are pretty easy to put to sleep
at 80 dex ,minimum int i got 3485 dmg
at 80 int ,minimum dex i got 3202 dmg
at 40/40 i got 3281 dmg
kinda funky considering it has only a C in Int yet it appears to contribute quite a lot to the damage,i'd still prolly run dex cause int helps for **** all with the light and heavy attacks

It seems like the bonus damage *can* apply to resistant (stagger-only) bosses while they're briefly afflicted, though the timing is tight and I haven't quite figured it out.

Unsure exactly *how* much better this is than the standard attack, but this inflicts much more eternal sleep status than the needle's basic attacks do.
Anyone know if this is sleep status or a unique effect? i.e. will it work on most enemies?
The PvE enemies really need a longer time limit for getting the big damage hit with the skill. What needs happen is that when an enemy becomes afflicted with sleep, they should be susceptible to the skill until the actual stagger animation finishes.
There are too many times where I'm fighting something and the skill just gives me raw heavy attack damage rather than the big 'splash'. It sucks because this is literally rhw sleep version of 'Poison Moth Flight' and 'Poison Flower Blooms Twice' .
It's really heartbreaking when you expect a big hit for managing to proc a status effect, that 5% of the game population uses just for it to flop.
