Rakshasa Armor is a Chest Armor in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Chest Armor in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Rakshasa Armor is part of the Rakshasa Set, and is dropped by Rakshasa. Rakshasa Armor is an armor piece worn over or around the player's torso to obtain an increase of defense and resistance. It also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some armor pieces may be available to both genders, but may be slightly different for male and female characters.
Armor of Rakshasa, soaked in the spurting blood of her victims. Tatters of ragged cloth jut out haphazardly, as if her lust for carnage threatens to break free.
Increases damage dealt to foes, but greatly increases damage taken by the wearer.
Cut down and devour. Only those who repeat the cycle without rest can truly subvert the self and become Rakshasa.
Where to find Rakshasa Armor in Elden Ring
The Rakshasa Armor Chest Armor can be found at:
- Dropped by Rakshasa in Eastern Nameless Mausoleum. This area can only be accessed by using the ladder in Shadow Keep to get down to a special teleport coffin (this Elden Ring Map location). This will take you to Ruins of Unte and you must follow the cliffs downstream and then carefully drop down to bottom level to reach the mausoleum. [Shadow of the Erdtree Map]
Rakshasa Armor Set in Elden Ring
- Rakshasa Armor is a piece of the Rakshasa Set
- Boosts All Damage by 2%, but increases damage taken.
- The increased damage received isn't actually a debuff, it's just that this armor set has lower damage negation for its weight class. A good comparing could be the Night's Cavalry Set which has the exact same weight. And compared to that you'll lose roughly 2% damage negation per piece.
- The rest of the set is composed by the Rakshasa Helm, Rakshasa Gauntlets, and Rakshasa Greaves.

Since damage resistance stacks diminishingly, the trade of damage taken:damage given is more useful in DLC due to blessing giving damage resist.

Shame that you can't remove the cape. It's preference but not everyone wants a butt cape

Of course you can't remove the cape. It's whatever but just odd tbh

The dmg taken increase is just flavor it seems. You get around 8% dmg increase for the whole set, but for its weight class, the set gives overall, less dmg negation compared to similar armor sets with this weight. But its still alot better than if you go naked.
Each piece gives around 2% so you don't need to wear the full set to get the dmg buff.

Why always a debuff? Great looking armor I'll never wear. Yay

This set also has an effect on spells cast through magic, such as comet, looks like about a 8 % increase with full set

With the full set on, you are provided with about an 8.2% damage increase, but I’m not sure how much your damage taken is increased.
Its basically Gut's Berserker Armor
