Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. It is a brand-new Remembrance in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Most Consumables grant various effects such as restorative properties for recovering HP, removing certain negative status effects or applying temporary buffs and debuffs, while others can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.
Remembrance of Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame, hewn into the Scadutree.
The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader. Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes.
As the golden barbs inflicted eternal agony upon him, Midra held fast to Nanaya's entreaty:
"Endure."
The word was a curse.

This guy gets absolutely melted by Dancing Blade of Ranah. The speed of the R1s just makes a mockery of the second phase if you play aggressively and stay on him.

Instead of the incantation it should’ve been a headpiece, “boosts damage for incantations originating from the three fingers” and then just give it garbage defense stats

This Boss is weak to stagger and bleed. So I gave him a double dose: Blood Fiends Arm with Bleed affinity. Then I just Lion's Clawed him to death. It was pretty brutal, but prior this approach, he was giving me grief. Also used the new Night Sister Ashes, due to them attacking aggressively and using Bleed too (Katana & Claws).
What a fun boss! I managed it on my my first attempt, but it was just the right combination of keeping my on my toes and being pretty sure, but not certain I could do it on my first go! Had to use one clarifying bolus and only got hit with madness once. Really fun fight!

Elden ring handles boss weapons very poorly I think, it’s always either the weapon they use or the spell they use. Should’ve been more like ds3 so that it’s still somewhat of a surprise what you’ll get.

Midra misinterpret Nanaya word "Endure"
she not mean "Endure" the pain
she mean use "Endure" before casting your FoF incant
not let your opponent interupt your casting
Endure and use FoF is the best way to execute Frenzied Flame.

Instead of a barely usable incantantion we could've gotten a frenzy transformation item that turns your head into the flame of frenzy

God what a drama queen. I used endure all the time too, midra, even when it was bad. You ain't special

So that’s it then right? Keep ol’ Midra down in the Manse cause he’s not good enough to be a lord of frenzied flame.
I know you. I know what you were, what you are, people don’t change! You’re Flamin’ Midra! And Flamin’ Midra I can handle just fine but Flamin’ Midra with the frenzied flame is like a chimp with a machine gun! The flame is sacred! If you abuse that power people get hurt! This is not a game! Cause you have to know on some level I know you know I’m right! You know I’m right!

Wanna s t e a l h i s l o o k? Use goldmask's rags. Dude's literally him. Sadly no burning head, but hey, cant have everything

the boss got Flame of the Fell God but frenzy, and Frenzied Laser beam but all we get is a worse version of Unendurable Frenzy??

i feel bad for this dude the most quite honestly, he's not the first, best, strongest or last lord of frenzied flame, he's just the latest (like you) and one that you happen to put out of his misery at the right time

I'm disappointed that we don't get to steal his drip via Enya after defeating him
Sure it's just some really tattered looking yellow rags that barely cover anything, but it would have looked cool probably
Would really tie a frenzy cultist build character together at least

So judging from the torch description Nanaya wandered the land in search of a lord since the previous one was too weak. Sometime after she met Midra and then set him up so he came in contact with the flame. The hornsent found out about it and attacked the manor, leading them to kill other hornsent as well, "their brethren" as one NPC ghost puts it. They try to execute Midra with the Greatsword of Damnation but he was found to be effectively unkillable. Midra wished to pull it out to cease the pain but Nanaya tells him to "Endure", possibly hoping the pain would drive him insane and become a true lord. Did Midra know about her intentions? Either he willlingly chose to become a lord yet failed, or he saw the flame as a sickness he wished to contain for Nanaya's sake, not knowing her true motives.
Those are my two cents anyway.

Guess it was Jori the inquisitor that rammed the sword through him, and burned down the mansion.

Midra being cursed to “Endure” is so similar to Agni being forced to “Live” in fire punch.

Wish we could have more lore about the dude. He looks cool af

One of the coolest bosses in the DLC and this is just the standard great sword moveset? Where are the spins? Anything unique at all other than the AoW?

No frenzy helmed 0/10 we finaly had the chance for the mod to become real for the lord of frenzied flame, only to not give the player the helmet

For frenzy being one of the major endings in the game, they truly did shaft any frenzy fans. a Holy weapon? seriously? as if we don't have enough of those. the only frenzy weapon we have is a great spear, and the hand and perfume bottle aren't even that good either. Fromsoft, throw us a freaking bone for once. add an ACTUAL frenzy weapon for gods sake

I used Rotten Avatar Staff and Fingerprint Greatshield. With both the Greatshield and curved sword talismans equipped, you can poise break and critical hit him every two guard counters and apply scarlet rot as a bonus. Easy win.

The rememberance lore is literally this games version of Luna telling Agni "Live" in Fire Punch

One of the remembrance items should just be a t-shirt that says " I endured the frenzied flame and all I got was this shitty tshirt"
