How to get Rosus's Summons
- Deafult skill for the Rosus' Axe.
Elden Ring Rosus's Summons Guide
- This is a Unique Skill
- FP Cost: 15
- Deals 30 stance(PvE poise) damage when all attacks hit.
- Deals 810 PvP poise damage when all attacks hit.
- As they all have the same poise damage if you want to calculate what X number of hits will do divide by 4 then multiply it by the number of attacks that are hitting.
- Deals both Physical and Magic Damage
- The motion values for Rosus's Summons - Bullet (Skeletons) are 105 Physical and Magic
- Rosus's Summons - Weapon hit has a motion value of 100 Physical and Magic
- This Skill has Hyperarmor, it has a poise multiplier of 2 (it actually reduces poise damage taken by .5 but for all intents and purposes it multiplies your poise by 2) and gets 30 poise from the axe itself.
- This Skill is not Chargeable
- This Skill cannot be Parried
- This Skill can be Parried if performed with no Focus
- Note: This Skill was changed with Patch 1.07 as follows: motion speed has been increased.

This is AoW is meant to be used in conjunction with spirit summons when it comes to highly manoeuvrable targets, the distraction helps a lot.

I hate be so conventional but I wish this AoW had been attached to a scythe instead :-/
I also wish that souls games had proper summons. No not like the spirit ashes. I mean weaker summons that come from a spell or AoW. Imagine if this AoW just summoned up 3 spooky boyz that would follow you around until killed. Then you just summon some more. I love the idea of summoning being a specialization in souls games one day.

Did some testing against the Leyndell Tree Sentinel with the torch near the Outer Wall Phantom Tree site of grace in NG+2, making sure to gain aggro first to avoid the unnoticed damage buff.
Rosus' Axe at +9 with 19 Str, 20 Dex, and 85 Int has an AR of 633 when one-handed and 661 when two-handed.
- 1h Light attack: 374
- 2h Light attack: 412
- Full AoW: 1376
- AoW Melee with 2 skeletons: 1048
- AoW Melee with 1 skeleton: 708
- AoW no Melee with 3 skeletons: 1002
I then respeced for 99 str, 62 dex, and 75 int giving 829 AR one-handed and 860 AR two-handed, then tested again
- 1h Light attack: 542
- 2h Light attack: 592
- Full AoW: 1928
- AoW no Melee with 3 skeletons: 1386
Notes and conclusions:
- AoW damage does not change between one-handing or two-handing, even the melee hit is unaffected
- The downward swing deals the same amount of damage as the weapon's 1h light attack, while the summons deal magic damage that is independent from the weapon
- The summons are bullets, meaning they will attack even if the player is staggered out of the attack, and they spawn extremely quickly
- The player gains some hyper armor at the same time as the summons spawn and maintains that armor until after they attack
- AoW damage seems to scale with the AR of the weapon, otherwise the skeletons would have done far more damage than the melee hit while I was still using the magic build, so leveling str, dex, and int will give maximum damage, but strength is best overall

why is there so low info about this one, like other damaging slashes like loretta's has a lot of guide to increase damage but why is this one empty? this skill is better than tibias summon too

Shard of Alexander + Magic Tear Flask + Terra Magica + Magic Scorpion
^This will deal high damage to any large-body enemies

This is one of my favorite AoW's, It deals insane damage and staggers most enemies easily, It also works even if you get hit out of the animation, It also looks cool and is just a better version of Tibia summons.

This thing is lame. Unlike it's brother spell this thing only summons them right around you instead of where your opponent is. Lame.

In pvp, like Carian Knight's Greatsword nd Odorvis's Greatsword, this is one of those weapons/Aows/moves that's meant to be equipped with high poise so that you can bait a person into attacking you while you hyper armor your way into a powerful blow. However, it's important to note that Ordovis's Greatsword is more viable thanks to its large aoe roll catching and the larger amount of hyper armor that sometimes even fools an opponent into locking themselves into an attack while you full charge the blade.
