With 30 str (20 2h), 15 Dex and 22 faith, and. +3 weapon, I can already do over 1k damage, no Godfrey icon. Surprising an eagle nets me 1326.

      Sorry I ever doubted you…

Does anyone know the % split of damage, is it just 50% holy and 50% physical? Or is it more complex than that?

For me this always just hits the ground in front of me if I’m locked on to a target — the projectile almost never goes out, which makes it terrible when you want to use it at range. It’s totally fine in melee range, but for some reason it just hits the ground for me 8 or 9 times out of ten. Dark Moon Greatsword used to do the same on stairs and stuff but they fixed that, I hope they fix this too.

If you see this charging up, hear me: Don't rush in, just dodge it. The uncharged version still hits like a train and leaves you open for some nasty r2.

this is a great skill, and the best part is the knock back effect.
I've been having a blast bullying the knights around the halige tree with this

Even though the weapon scaling is a B in strength, the weapon art is very powerful for faith casters. With 80 faith and 40 strength, the weapon art still slams opponents onto their butts for 2000 damage while using Godfrey’s Icon and Shard of Alexander.

The name's translation is wrong. In JP it's 「シルリアの渦」, meaning "Siluria's Vortex". Can't imagine why the very word "vortex" appeared in the description but was translated as "woe" in the name. Totally unrelated two words...

Just tested this is 1.08, the damage of this skill does not scale with Strength at all, proven by 2 handing as well as using the Starscourge Heirloom. Dex and Faith however do both affect it, possibly stronger with Dex, however my Faith was already over 50 so it may have had diminishing returns.

People always talk about the other weapon ash you can buy similar to this one, but it's literally pale in comparison. If you have points in str/faith this weapon skill is soooo OP (in PVE, i don't PVP) You can literally 5-6 shot the bosses in Lyndell! and they're resistant to holy! I one shot all the bosses in Lyndell with this, radagon's soreseal, and level 120ish! I did a few jump and R1s, and used the weapon skill once or twice, then R1s, they were all dead. I got so high level using this and the treespear. Seriously OP.

OP weapon art vs smaller bosses excluding radagon. Hitting Melania for 2k w/ 70 str, godfrey icon, Alexander shard, holy scorpion, holy damage flask, and +9 spear

It does fire the tornado after, however it seems to travel only level if you are locked onto anything, and if it hits the ground at all it vanishes. This means if you fire uphill or hit any terrain it just vanishes, and downhill it will just go over your target's head. It is possible to aim manually but you have no crosshair or anything to assist.

Is this bugged? The description is entirely different than what it does. It thrusts into the ground and does the tornado explosion and nothing else after.
