Prelate's Charge |
---|
Slam armament into the ground to create a surge of flames, then charge in.
Hold to continue the charge |
Prelate's Charge is a Skill in Elden Ring. Prelate's Charge is a regular skill that smashes the weapon into the ground to create a surge of flames. Prelate's Charge has Flame Affinity and is usable on large and colossal axes and hammers.
How to get Prelate's Charge
- Default skill for the Prelate's Inferno Crozier
- Located outside of Guardians' Garrison. The Scarab is hanging off a tree, just before the chain bridge drops this Ash of War. Two ways of getting there:
- Head south-west from the Whiteridge Road site of grace until you get to three twisted trees (the tallest in the camp) before the ridge. The Scarab is hanging off the east-most tree
- Head back across the chain bridge from the Giants' Gravepost site of grace and to the right of the tallest tree the scarab is hanging off the smaller one next to it.
Elden Ring Prelate's Charge Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Prelate's Charge.
- FP Cost: costs 7 FP to start the charge and then 7 FP continuously to keep charging
- This Skill is not Chargeable. However, you can charge at enemies using it.
- Both of this Skill's attacks can be Parried
- Only the first and last hits normally apply status buildup.
- However, Bloodflame Blade's bleed effect and Black Flame Blade's damage over time are still applied by the intermediate hits.
- Other buffs like Poison Armament or Blood Grease do not work, nor do innate rot or bleed on the weapon.

I wish there was a magma version. Maybe on a unique weapon. That would be awesome..

> Other buffs like Poison Armament or Blood Grease do not work, nor do innate rot or bleed on the weapon
This is wrong. I managed to proc Rot using the Rotten Duelist Greataxe with only Prelate's Charge. No R1 or R2.

Your maps are bugged, they show everything possible when you click a link currently, they used to only show what item you were looking for

TIL that enemies standing in the lingering fire can heal you with the Godskin Swaddling Cloth

Why this doesn't deal any damage? Does it work only with bloodflame?

We have Smough's buttslam, Smough's hammer smash, and Smough's charge.

I 'll look if the range of fire deadly sin is big enough to hit the ennemies stunlocked by the prelate charge, cause if so, it would be crazy

So... Who wants to team up with me in PVP, each of us respec to 99 Mind, throw this on our Great Stars, and go to town doing donuts around some poor tarnished?

Is there anyway to guess at the damage of the intermediate hits and if they are worth buffing with the sword insignias, or would you be better off focusing on stamina and mana usage with your talismans?

Put this on a great stars and you will never know fear again

Since you can put the faith based flame art affinity on a weapon with this ash, but not strength based fire, I'm wondering if a strength build would do as much damage using heavy. Does the skill scale specifically with faith or is it just as strong for a strength build?

The location here is written in a somewhat confusing way. Don’t bother with forbidden lands at all.
-From Whiteridge Road head up the path in the middle of the ramparts till you get to a tight grouping of three twisted trees on your left. The scarab is on the left most one of the three when going this way.

Put bloodflame blade on this and let her rip. the fire on the ground triggers it. Yes its ****ing stupid. No im not going to stop doing it.

can stunlock very low poise players (like around 7 poise or something) to the very end of the charge. makes for some of the epic funny moments.

Does this trigger successive attacks like winged sword talisman?

Does this work with Godfrey's Icon, Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent's Prosthesis, or Godskin Swaddling Cloth?

The (probably) best weapon to put this on is Great Stars. It steals about 1% HP every hit, and can apply bleed naturally. Add Bloodflame Blade and you can proc bleed super fast, while stealing HP, and dealing respectable damage at a B scaling and 305 base damage at +25

I put a different ash on my crozier and the prelate's charge isn't showing up in my inventory. Is it gone now?

Put this on any weapon with innate bleed buildup (I chose Great Stars), buff it with bleed resin or bloodflame and charge the Malenia.... She easily loses like half of HP bar while being staggered to hell during this.

I found this ash of war near White Ridge Road grace. It's on a dung beetle on a tree along the road going south.
