Hermit's Shack is a Location in Elden Ring. The Hermit's Shack is found in Mt. Gelmir on the southwestern tip of the volcano. Players can reach this location by first traveling around the volcano starting from the ravine west of Wyndham Ruins, following it all the way around to Fort Laiedd and then heading south. The shack can be found on top of a small hill on the left.

Hermit's Shack Walkthrough
There is little of note at this shack other than the Roiling Magma sorcery found on a corpse inside. There are a couple of Demi-Humans in the shack as well. Heading further west, a Lesser Runebear will descend down the cliffs above to attack. Lure it to attack the shining statue near the shack to loot x3 Smithing Stone (6).

AnonymousThe Rolling Magma spell is a sorcery, not an incantation as the page states. My faith build cleric was very disappointed with this deception.

That bear is insane. There is a way to cheese him though. Make him follow you to hermit's village. He will turn back from the stakes and wont aggro until he reaches to a point. Fry his ass at that point. Take care of the demihumans and that saw machine first though
Can't get anywhere near the shack as of 1.03, just instantly crash.

Just follow the Seethewater River to Fort Laiedd, defeat the Magma Wyrm there and keep following the road South. It's not rocket science, guys, just explore a little.

I'm completely baffled as to why there's a summon pole next to the Hermits shack that seems to do nothing? Can't summon anywhere near the Rune Bear, and it can't be for anywhere else because the summon pole for the Magma Wyrm arena is further down, and the only thing in between there and the bear is like 4 Demihumans.
