Elden Ring Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker Guide, Notes & Tips
- This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker.
- FP Cost: 16 per use, has a follow up.
- This totals to a 32 FP cost.
- This Skill is not Chargeable
- Upon activation, the user raises their arms into the air, shouting briefly before slamming them into the ground, producing a large shockwave around them.
- Using the Skill button again allows the user to follow up, slamming their arms into the ground once more, this time with reduced area of effect on the shockwave.
- The shout can stagger minor enemies if they're near the player.
- Deals high Stance damage on both attacks.
- 15 stance damage on the initial shockwave, 20 on the slam, and 20 on the follow up (either slam or shockwave)
- If used without FP:
- The shout does not stagger.
- The ground slam does not produce a shockwave
- The follow up slam does not produce a shockwave either.
- Each shout tick and at least the initial slam triggers the following:
- Bloodflame Blade's bleed debuff effect
- Godskin Swaddling Cloth
- Seemingly full 3 shout ticks and slam on individual enemy triggers this effect.
- Rotten Winged Sword Insignia,
- A full 3 shout ticks and slam on single mob seems to buff you the potency of Shard of Alexander, and double that used on two mobs
- Winged Sword Insignia,
- and Millicent's+Prosthesis
- Additional Notes:
- currently only tested using Crescent Moon Axe
- tick requirements may vary per weapon
- May not work on all weapons
- Can't confirm if effects proc on second slam or not.
- A stagger is not required for effects to proc.
- currently only tested using Crescent Moon Axe

You'd think it was chargeable given Lou's battle strategy of using every charge attack known to man, but if you could buff this with Godfrey's icon I think you'd turn the shattering into the splintering.

Best part is it hits enemies through walls. Does big AoE damage (1k+ per slam @ 55 Str/645 AR on a +25 Nightrider Glaive w/ Heavy S scaling). One of my favorite ashes.

Slapped this bad boy on a nagakiba in arenas and no one expected the big bang from a dex build, and of course I made it scale with dex, I'm not a mad man.....yet

Both ground slams (but not the roar) trigger the healing from Great stars and Butchering Knife and it appears to be for each enemy hit. This makes it pretty effective to use these weapons to burst down large groups while tanking through damage.
you shouldve been able to trade godfreys rememberance for a fist weapon that had this as its aow, and also maybe have some crucible knight drop an aow for the cone aoe stomp they and godfrey do.

How does this trigger bloodflame blade's "bleed debuff effect"? Am I right in thinking if you cast bloodflame blade on a weapon that has this AoW the shock waves will proc bleed?
I started using this by chance, while trying some of the ashes I had in NG+ to change from Bloodhound step which became a bit boring to use, and I must say it is damn cool!

If it didn't make your weapon disappear, and even incorporated it into the slam it'd be so much cooler.

The manliest ash of war. Use for incredibly fun and damaging AoE.

YES. It was amazing before, but now after the buff it's insane!

Was hoping this would be the fast earthquake stomp he and crucible knights do

This ash is OP. Insane damage, aoe, hyper armor, knock back and stagger. Why is no one talking about this yet?

The roar part of this art chain staggers. completely demolishes anything with poise.

It is not empowered by either the Godfrey Icon or Roar Medallion.

There should be a tali or attribute that increases ash speed, like there is for increasing sorcery cast speed.
