Giant Oracle Envoy Combat information

  • Health: 5532 HP
  • Poise: 0

Absorptions

The absorption numbers are the % of your damage that gets blocked. For example, if an absorption is 60, 40% of that damage by that type will go through and 60% is absorbed. Bigger number = less damage. An absorption of 100 means no damage goes through, and a resistance of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source. 0 means damage goes pretty much as is.

Resistances

The resistance numbers are the buildup amount to trigger it. For example, if a resistance is 100 you must deal 100 points of the given buildup to trigger it. Note that these go down over time, and increase each time the effect procs.

I'll take the second kill drop as a recompensation for losing my sanity during the celebrant sickle farming.

      • Anonymous

For how hard these things are to kill you’d think the drop rate for their weapon would be a lot higher. Only three in the game, and all in an area where they have a massive advantage against you, yet you have to kill dozens to get that horn.

        • Anonymous

Killing them is easy. Actually getting to them is a nightmare. And why in a place like this with an enemy like that is the drop rate so low?!

          • Anonymous

of all the obnoxious enemy designs in this game, this one takes the cake whether you're far away or fighting up close

            • Anonymous

It's disgusting that these fat ****s can literally bombard you with dozens of projectiles every time they use it when you can barely squeeze a single bubble out of the thing at the time

              • Anonymous

Ancient dragons, 80 foot giants and eldritch gods. None of them are a match for 1 bubble from this thing...

These enemies made me appreciate stealth a lot more. Use Assassin's Approach to get close to them and then whack them a few times with fully charged colossal attacks

You have to be kidding me that there are only 2 of these ****ers in existence that drop this ****ing **** item.

                      • Anonymous

I farmed it with Rannis Dark Moon from below until the item dropped. This spell eats all projectiles and it has great range. Just drink prior your wondrous flask for FP.

If you're having trouble I have an easy, 5 step program:
                          1. Max out Bolt of Gransax to +10
                          2. Equip Bolt of Gransax
                          3. Lock on to Oracle Envoy Giant from long range
                          4. L2, L2, L2, L2, L2 (fully charged every time)
                          5. Profit

Don't forget to equip Shard of Alexander, Godfrey Icon, Lightning Scorp Talisman and swig from a lightning boost Flask of Wonder!

I’ve been starting at initial Grace running to main branch killing first ant and using reduvia +10 to kill in 6 hits with bloodloss.

                              From Haligtree Town:
                              Climb ladder
                              Call the three Mandy’s
Run out and cast terra magicka then duck back so bubbles don’t hit
                              Fill magic backup
                              Run to terra magicka
                              Cast eternal darkness
Cast comet azur and one shot it
If the drop is purple go get it

How I farmed this weapon using Bolt of Gransax skill:

                                1) Haligtree Town site of grace
                                2)Turn around and ascend ladder
3)Kill first 3 rot flower guys
                                4)Buff
5)Run forward a bit then turn around prepared to dodge
                                6)Dodge attack, throw attack, repeat

This way, when he dies, you can see the item before running along the roots to get to him. Just wait until he drops a purple item, then drop down and navigate the roots to the item.

I have one question. There is information that can parry the enemy, but I couldn't parry the enemy. If there is a video of someone succeeding in parry, I want to share it. Or please revise the contents because it can't be parried.

flame of the fell god+borealis mist

use borealis mist to proc frost while the flame is approaching the envoy, the flame explodes to reset the frost while you're still casting the mist to proc frost again = instant kill

Anyone struggling with killing them use ezykes decay with dragon comm seal, wrecks this thing don’t wait for it to tick down just hold the incant one hold of that spell with canvas talisman does 3600/5200 two breaths is a quick kill with range

                                            *use high holy damage resist*

                                            sure ok
*uses maximum holy damage resist plus buffs*

                                            gets one shot anyway

damage resist does NOTHING in this game

Warning, if you kill this guy while he's doing his bouncing attack he can drop his stuff so high in the air that you can't collect it. Happened to me on the 5th kill, now I'm an hour in and he hasn't dropped it again.

                                              • Anonymous

These guys are super susceptible to Sleep Pots. A single Pot knocks them to sleep and will allow you to crit them.

                                                • Anonymous

Safest way to farm this biatch is Haligtree Canopy SoG. Run straight forward, drop down to the right branch - kill the middle-sized envoy (or just past him) - keep going until the O shaped branch, wait for the ant to pass - jump down, go on the opposite direction of the ant. The Giant Envoy at the end can be soloed without aggroing others. If you do it right nothing will even get 1 hit on you.

Be prepared tho, drop rate is kinda a *****. 200 discovery and still no luck after one hour.

                                                  • Anonymous

Probably one of the most grueling enemies to farm in this game.

Protip: If you hate traveling to these guys and also don't want to waste so many fowl feet, you can make a save backup right before you're about to fight them and reload it when they don't drop the horn. Enemies killed when you save and exit will stay dead when you reload the game, so killing the ants is helpful.

                                                    • Anonymous

Best place to farm is first grace in the haligtree run forwards a bit and drop down on to the main branch with all the ants then turn around and run back in the direction yo came form. There is one at the top of this branch.

                                                      • Anonymous

I know of the 2 on the sidepath right before the Haligtree Town grace. But those are extremely irritating to farm. Are there any others to farm for their drops? I can kill them with blood arrows safely or poison/rot and wait... but it's not sustainable or fast. And trying to get up to melee is almost a death sentence.

Weak to bleed and presumably frostbite too based on the Envoy Crown's Robustness value. 5 bloodbone arrows with 9 arcane procs bleed. Heads are so large that you can find good angles where they cant hit you back too.
