Isolated Merchant's Shack (Dragonbarrow) Walkthrough
Particularly of note at this location is the Bell Bearing Hunter that spawns a night, replacing the Isolated Merchant. The easiest way to spawn him is to rest at the Site of Grace, advance time til night and then rest once more. When you step out of the shack, the boss should spawn. This particular iteration of the Hunter is significantly stronger than others you may have faced before. Upon defeat, he drops the Gravity Stone Peddler's Bell Bearing.
There is also a Teardrop Scarab at the cliffs just northwest of the shack. It drops the Ash of War: Sky Shot upon death.

I was level 13 on my first play through when i first found this guy after resting at a site of grace from what I thought was safety after running and surviving riding through calid from one shot monsters after accidentally being teleported here. Appeared right over me in a haze of red mist as I shat my pants and futilely tried hitting him multiple times with my stick sword before it calmly one swiped me to death with that sword and walked off.

Why is everyone so eager to kill this guy… there’s a grace right next to his shop, so what’s the point of killing the poor guy??

Easiest way I killed him was on Horseback and I used Stars of Ruin on him. Any spell you can easily use while still moving on Torrent means this boss is very easily kited. Just be wary not to kite him to the doggos because those are not good boys at all.

I came here at night and there was no boss that spawned, then passed time to noon at the grace and then he literally spawned right next to me. Scared the hell out of me lol.

If you come here at night the boss you can fight is able to be VERY easily cheesed on horseback with the night maiden's mist sorcery; he does not gap close and will slow walk through it.

at night a boss appears in this area right where the merchant is

“No enemies at this location” my ass.
Tyrannosaurus Dog right outside the back door.
You can fight a boss here at night. He drops 50000 souls + gravity offering bell.

I came here at night time and a big angry red guy with a lightsaber was here. he also has force powers
Good tactic is to just spam Reduvia weapon art on medium distance and trade hits occasionally
