Use the Coffin to create a duplicate of a Remembrance
|
Remembrance Duplication Coffins are special Locations in Elden Ring. Remembrance Duplication Coffins offer players in Shadow of the Erdtree the same service as Walking Mausoleums did in the base game, allowing them to duplicate Remembrances. Unlike their counterparts, players do not need to attack or engage in any type of combat situation.
Remembrance Duplication Coffin Guide for Elden Ring
- Players need to place their Boss Remembrance at the Coffin to Duplicate it. (Note: You do not have to have the Remembrance with you when you do this. If you previously acquired and used it, you can still receive a duplicate at a later time in your playthrough)
- Like Walking Mausoleums, players have only one use per Remembrance Duplication Coffin. Pick wisely!
- It should be noted that you cannot regain a Remembrance Weapon that you have already obtained (in the same playthrough at least).
- Main base Remembrance can also be used in the Remembrance Duplication Coffin!
Shadow of the Erdtree Remembrance Duplication Coffin Locations
There are a total of 3 Remembrance Duplication Coffins in Elden Ring. Note that they are exclusive to Shadow of the Erdtree and are not present in the main game.
Locations:
- Cathedral of Manu Metyr: Found in the lake surrounding Cathedral of Manu Metyr, slightly southwest. [Elden Ring Map Link]
- Finger Ruins of Rhia: Found in the southeast of the Finger Ruins of Rhia on a cliff down from the site of grace of the same name, taking the path upwards instead into the valley, by holding south-east. [Elden Ring Map Link]
- Finger Ruins of Dheo, Scaduview: Found in the north of Scaduview, below the cliff the Fingerstone Hill site of grace sits atop. Head north-east after descending down the path from the site of grace. [Elden Ring Map Link]

As someone who already used all seven of the Mausoleums of the base game, three Remembrance Duplication Coffins total seems juuuuuust a tad bit low. If the main game ratio is anything to go by, it should have been 4-5 (five probably is too generous, so I guess four).

there is another one of these south east of Finger Ruins of Rhia, just down the path from the Finger Ruins of Rhia grace

This is fun as all duplication coffins are actually near finger ruins. Maybe they all actually connected to fingers?

Another one is at the finger ruins of rhia somewhere between grace and actually going in where enemies are, sorry for poor directions

To be much more clear, the tombstone for the Dheo finger ruins is just east and below the starbeast crater, just follow the northern cliffs and its next to a few hands, there is also a "two fingers" emote a little east of the tomb.

There's one in the grassy part of Finger Ruins of Dheo, nearby there's also another gesture on a corpse that I'm sure a lot of people missed.

Oh thank God because I used all the Mausoleums in the Base Game already !!
Yeesh. With 7 Wandering Mausoleums and 3 duplication coffins, it leaves just enough to duplicate each Shadow of the Erdtree remembrance at least once in a single playthrough, though with the final boss, you have three options, so you'd either have to duplicate it three times or save the third option for the next playthrough.
