Where is this so-called Kow Tower? Is there any info on this lore-crucial place? Are there any cows inside it?

This reminds a lot to the Dark Flow attack animation from Phantasy Star Online. Also 5 waves of light, though in PSO is way more broken haha

This hits through walls and travels downwards past high ground ledges

Godfrey Icon not boosting it sucks, but with the right build you don't even really need it to.

I’m curious if there’s any method of avoiding this if you get caught in waves radius, outside of running away or rolling into the thing if you’re close enough to get behind the opponent (even then this seems to hit you). I’ve tried jumping and that doesn’t work.
I managed to corner some people in a small room in a catacomb and there was basically nothing they could do when I just spammed this from the entrance. Felt really dirty.

Its whatever in PvE but in PvP this is quietly overturned, I hope they never fix it cause this is a really cool weapon.
The weapon art comes are fairly quick and gives you a lot of hyper armour to work with, you can basically reverse every lost interaction by simply using the weapon art out of hit stun. If you don't charge the skill the initial attack true combos into the eruption, but you can also charge it for more damage on a roll catch. The charged skill actually covers a massive amount of distance and the hitbox is both larger and lingers longer then the animation implies, if you manage your position well this is a really powerful tool against 3 man teams in invasions. Unless the opponent has used an infinite hyper armour ash they will be knocked into the air and put in a really nasty defensive position, especially if you're using this with spells (you should be). Now with the colossal CR1 buff this weapon has a solid way to exert pressure too.
Super solid and underrated. People saying it's a poor mans waves of gold clearly don't engage with the PvP side of the game. Also I feel obligated to mention this the highest colossal but also has some of the highest AR and solid range.

Some quick testing at +10:
2248 damage vs albinaurics with no bonuses at 80 faith
strength does not increase damage
85 faith increased it to 2253, no other stats increase damage
like others have said, godfrey icon doesn't work
it seems to be pure holy damage, and thus obviously scales with holy scorpion and not much else
don't have alexander's so can't test that atm, but seems likely it won't work as others have said seeing as godfrey doesn't work

From my testing, the wave part of the skill deals holy damage, Shard of Alexander only boost the weapon initial down and upward motion if you also connect with the weapon, but it doesn't boost the wave damage itself, and maybe it's a bug but Godfrey Icon has no effect on the skill as a whole

Okay this Ash actually SLAPS. It's extremely quick compared to what I expected, even when charged, and does pretty great damage. It also juggles enemies which is a great benefit against anything that can be juggled. The only thing I haven't tested is its poise damage but considering it's an ash on a colossal weapon I bet that's pretty good too.

"Hold button down to further increase resentment" may be one of the most unitentionally funniest descriptions this game has to offer.

This has an invisbile 360 degree hitbox around the caster, even if you run completely behind them out of the visual effect range, it still hits you
