Magic Damage is one of the Damage Types in Elden Ring. It is one of the eight main Damage Types and belongs to the Elemental Damage category. Damage Types are a major part of the calculation that determines how much damage is dealt in Combat and are affected by many factors including your equipment, skills and temporary buffs.
Elden Ring Magic Damage Guide
Magic Damage is a type of Elemental Damage dealt by both players and enemies alike. Magic Damage is elemental damage that falls outside of Fire Damage, Lightning Damage and Holy Damage types. Magic Damage is often effective against most enemies with high Physical resistance or are heavily armored.
Most Weapons can be upgraded via the Magic Upgrade Path in order to imbue them with Magic Damage properties. There are also Weapons that can be found which innately deal Magic Damage. See the Upgrades and individual weapon pages for details.
Most offensive Sorceries and certain offensive Incantations deal Magic Damage.
Weapon Arts that deal Magic Damage will benefit from Int if the weapon has Int scaling.
Weapon Arts that deal "Ice" Magic Damage will benefit from Int and Dex if the weapon has scaling on either of them.

Who put the prothesis wearer's talisman on here saying it can boost MAGIC damage? How is it boosting magic damage, exactly, when all it does is raise DEX?

Magic damage is the "safe option" of elemental damages
Almost every boss is 20% resistant but at least you won't see super high resistance (except for Renalla)

You forgot to add Scholarship Armament as possible source of damage

Carian Knight Shield and Clayman’s Harpoon are the only weapons with innate magic damage in which the ash can be changed. They will retain their magic damage too.

missing Clayman´s Harpoon. Its the only Int Weapon which can use Ashes of war as far as i know.

Carian Knight Shield does magic damage even when you change the affinity with an ash. It’s the only “weapon” that does this.

I think there is something one in this article, Rock Sling is an sorcery but deals physical damage. So not all offensive sorceries deal magic damage.

Regular golems and guardian golems seem to be weak to magic.
